I stayed in room 502 at the third floor (not sure how they name the rooms). There was a constantly working machine next to my room. It was hard to sleep with that noise. The bathroom smelled awful. Instead of fixing the issue, they tried to cover it up with lots of moth balls in the sink.

Okay overall but the rooms need work
Overall it was good. The Indian restaurant there was pretty delicious and the staff was very kind and helpful. I was just surprised that they charged us for the tea and the coffee that seemed complimentary. They even charges us for the 1 bottle of water that was supposed to be in the room free of charge. I was surprised to see that at the checkout. And the walls had peeling surfaces and the toilet seat was sliding so much when you sit :)

Florya hotel Review
It was okay. It was in a great area in terms of the public transportation. The room was smaller than depicted. The bathroom was smelly. The stay was fine and the service was usually great but on my last day a man working at reception with a shirt on that read "Whatever", phyisically attacked me and my girlfriend for a juice that we didnt buy there. It was traumatic.

Good for short stay
I find it very comfortable, relaxing and in the middle of city. The staff was really helpful and gave us authentic advice. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone who is staying for short period.

Never again!
I will never stay in this hotel ever again. It definitely needs renovation, and for the price I paid I had stayed in a far better hotel in the center of Istanbul. I couldn't sleep till 2:00am because I could hear how the other occupants were using the bathroom. The sheets had strands of hair, I even asked for it to be changed, but the housekeeper said they change them every two days. The only good thing about this hotel is the location.

Great short stay
Overall, great 2 night stay. I had my own private balcony that had a partial view of the sea. Located near many restaurants and shops. Very walkable. The room was very clean, they cleaned my room Daily. The staff was extremely helpful and nice. Only downfall, the bed was extremely uncomfortable. Every morning I’d wake up with extreme back pain. The bed felt it was broken in the middle and one sides of the bed titled

Ceiling was leaking ,the light makes noise ,bugs everywhere. Personally myself I did not use the bathroom or the bed I’m on sitting on the chair it is 3:23 AM😭

Little expensive but maybe due to the area
It was good and staff was friendly and approachable but knowledge of English wasn't good, it was hard to communicate with them. Cleanliness is adequate but there was mold in the bathroom at different places. Shower was so narrow that it was hard to shower. There were no amenities.

Very bad experience! I booked a non smoking room for 2 nights, firstly they provided a room that is so close to a “recycling” area where they keep breaking stuff, so we changed room. However, the whole place had an intense smoke smell, humidity was everywhere including bed, wardrobe and bathroom and it smelled so bad, the sealing was dripping water on the bed, and the light was not working properly! I booked it for couple if nights but i left after the first night as it was a nightmare! Holiday was ruined. Would not recommend at all!

Disappointed with stay
We went to this hotel as an important factor was the free parking however on arrival there was no parking, they said that it was under renovation and happened yesterday yet we did not get an email saying this was the case. We were not happy with this. The room was big and looked clean however the bathroom had a very bad smell which almost be it unbearable to get in to, fortunately the smell did not go in to the rest of the flat. The shower was uneven which led the water to gather away from the plughole. Overall, I was disappointed with the fact that there was no parking and they did not give us prior information on this matter, the bathroom had a very bad smell and the shower was pretty much falling apart. Room was big, nice balcony, was ok.

Great for back packers.

I cannot believe such high rating for this hotel is credible, there might be some fake reviews! Hotel staff smoking next to little children during breakfast, no discomfort, no hesitation, when people ask they say it is allowed and normal. I am pretty sure that this is illegal. Rooms smell mold due to lack of infrastucture, especially because of bathrooms with no ventilation. By far the worst hotel I have stayed, not sure how they have been collecting previous reviews with such high ratings.

Good cheap base near to Ataturk Airport
A small hotel very close to Ataturk Airport, the owner and staff very helpful, even to the extent of going out to get us some beer when we first arrived after an 18 hour flight - unfortunately this was necessary as the hotel is situated in a strict Muslim area with several cafes nearby of which none serve any alcohol. The rooms are comfortable but are slightly unfinished, i.e. electric wires hanging out, a paper calendar screwed? onto the bedroom wall to hide what looked like an electrical fire, with a bit of tlc this place could be better. If you go there from the airport, ask them to arrange a taxi as it would only be around 20-25 lira, the taxi at the airport charged us 100!

Horrible experience
Rooms were dirty, cold. It was like did not change the bed covers for weeks. Previous costumers hairs was in white dirty bed cover. Bathroom was dirty, not hot water. I called 3 times for some tea.

nice hotel next to the airport and close to lots of restaurants and shops. The price for food is too High. Room cleaning wasn’t done all the time. I felt like the hotel just wanted us for our money and not our service. I was put in a room that spelt of cigarettes which I wasn’t happy about.
