Amazing service in the heart of Istanbul. Utkan Ali greeted us with wonderful welcome drinks and told us about the area and the best sites. The hotel is in easy walking distance of all the best sites in Istanbul. We really enjoyed the roof top terrace and complimentary Turkish coffee and tea.

We were completely floored by the great hospitality at this newly renovated hotel…have stayed at many five star resorts but none with stellar service like this one.It is also very conveniently located, yet quiet. They so truly spoiled us that now our bar is set high. Would recommend this hotel to anyone without any hesitation. Rating it an 11 out of 10.Having said that must point out that the hotel does not have a restaurant. They are very generous in providing 24 hour variety of tea/coffee services with delicious sesame pistachio cookies free of charge. Their chocolate pistachio lokum is specially made for them and not available elsewhere in Istanbul…it is delicious! They are very close to the large Gulhane Park and the core sightseeing spots. A lot of food is within 5 minutes walking distance. If you choose to not stay here, it is your loss

We had a wonderful stay in Istanbul. The hotel’s location is excellent, but even more impressive was the hospitality of all the hotel staff. They always greeted us with a smile and were very friendly, offering us tea and giving helpful advice about our itinerary. If we have the chance to visit Istanbul again, we would definitely like to stay at the same hotel. The room with a sea view was very spacious and left us with great memories. Thank you！

Amazing Stay

Such a great hotel. It's new, clean, has great service and good location. Just be aware that they do not offer breakfast which was in our case not a problem. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Great staff and central location

Great location if you want to be right in the Sultanahmet area. Super close to multiple sites to visit but also far enough off the main road to not be too crazy. The staff were amazing and make sure that you have a good time. They were always ready to answer questions, give suggestions and help you find an itinerary or new place to eat.

The perfect choice for a very comfortable and peaceful stay. The accommodations were clean and well appointed. Perfectly located near metro, ferry terminal and scores of shops and restaurants. All of the major historic landmarks in Old Town are within walking distance. The concierges were extremely welcoming, kind and helpful. A special thank you to Utkan for excellent restaurant recommendations and making sure that our stay in Istanbul was perfect.

Fantastic property

This property was amazing. The staff were exceptional, rooms beautiful, comfortable and clean. Within walking distance to main attractions and beautiful views from the room. I was however surprised to see that there was a tram station at the front of the property. I am very sensitive to noise and did not hear anything.

Staff is at that perfect sweet spot of dignified and eagerly responsive to the slightest request. For example I got some take out nearby and as a visitor, I ordered wrong and assumed the food came warm, but you have to ask. So I goofed. I asked the hotel staff if I could use a microwave real quick, they immediately grabbed my food, took it to a nearby sister hotel, nuked it perfectly, and insisted upon delivering it to my room. I asked for a couple wine glasses and they again delivered right to my room. The younger guy at the main desk is way seasoned for his age and warm and helpful all day. We just LOVED IT. Best shower I’ve ever had at any hotel in my life.

Two things really stood out for me at The Golden Horn: the room quality and the super helpful staff. The room was so spacious and comfortable, with a wonderful Bosphorus view. As for the staff, nothing was too much trouble - reservations, recommendations, advice and help. I felt extremely well looked after.

From the moment we arrived at the Golden Horn Bosphorus Hotel, we were impressed by its immaculate upkeep and warm hospitality. The reception team greeted us with traditional tea and Turkish delight—a charming touch that set the tone for our stay. Our room was a highlight: spacious, modern, and impeccably clean, with excellent air conditioning and a modern bathroom. We had a wonderful view over looking the Bosphorus to watch the constant flow of ships and boats. While the rooftop offers stunning views, it could benefit from better furnishings or amenities to make it more inviting for guests to linger and enjoy. The location was perfect, we enjoyed walks to major attractions with many restaurants nearby. Overall, this hotel exceeded our expectations. Its combination of comfort, cleanliness, and unbeatable views makes it a place we’d happily return to. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a memorable stay in Istanbul.
