Lovely place

Lovely place. The restaurants around the area are expensive but then it’s a very upmarket place. Nice view from the rooftop terrace where you can have takeaway. Lovely breakfast.

Nice location

Hotel was in a nice location and a short walk to the Blue Mosque and Haiga Sofia. It was nice having breakfast included as well.

Wonderful hotel!!! Walking distance to all the major sites in the city like the Blue Mosque and Grand Bazaar. The hotel itself was modern, clean and everything you could want from a city break. Highly recommend!

An exceptional stay!

Everything in the hotel has a thoughtful design, from the minimalistic set up of the bedrooms to the inviting lounge and terrace. The hotel was impeccably clean, the rooms had exactly what you need, the location couldn’t be better and the staff was attentive, accommodating and friendly. I 100% recommend this place and definitely will be staying here on my next visit to Istanbul.

Nice and still quiet hotel in a very busy touristic area, almost every building is either a restaurant or hotel or both. Convenient location only 10 min walking from some of the major historic attraction of Istanbul. (Warning: the hotel didn't have an elevator, or at least I didn't see one).

Excellent property with excellent service. The room was in very good condition, the location of the hotel is perfect walking distance to all the landmarks such as the Sultan Ahmed Mosqie and Aya Sofia. Reception staff are extremely friendly and always happy to help with any questions. Highly recommended!

This hotel is outstanding in every way except for the size of the rooms. The location is steps away from the main sites of interest and numerous restaurants. The hotel is modern, bright and clean. The breakfast room and the food are highly enjoyable. Most importantly the owners set a tone of friendly hospitality and service. We highly recommend this family run hotel.

An excellent family-run small hotel, which is ideally situated for exploring the delights of Istanbul. The staff are very efficient and friendly, providing many excellent suggestions to ensure their guests’ enjoyment of the city. The breakfast is great - lots of tasty options. Clean, modern rooms with everything you are likely to need. The few minor niggles we had on arrival (safe being left locked by previous guests, temperamental air con) were immediately and cheerfully fixed. Thoroughly recommended.

The room was very small and had almost no storage for clothes, toiletries or anything else. The only option was to keep clothes in the suitcase and store that under the bed. There was no room in the bathroom to keep any toiletries apart from a toothbrush and toothpaste. There was only one power socket in the bedroom, which was certainly not enough for 2 people with multiple devices. We had not realised in advance that there was no lift, and we were on the third floor, which was rather taxing, especially after a busy day out. However, the room was immaculately clean, the air conditioning very efficient, and the staff very friendly and helpful.

I recently had the privilege of staying at the Alilass Hotel, and I must say that it was an unforgettable experience, largely due to the outstanding service provided by the dedicated staff, especially the remarkable lady from the housekeeping team named Aise. From the moment I arrived until my departure, the level of professionalism, warmth, and attention to detail was truly exceptional. Upon check-in, I was greeted with a genuine and warm welcome by the reception staff, setting a positive tone for my stay. One of the standout features of my stay was the impeccable cleanliness and tidiness of my room, thanks to the meticulous efforts of Aise and her housekeeping team. Every day, I returned to a spotless and neatly arranged room, complete with fresh linens and toiletries. The entire staff at Alilass Hotel deserves commendation for their professionalism and attentiveness. From the restaurant staff who served delectable meals to the concierge team who provided valuable recommendations for exploring the local area, the commitment to guest satisfaction was evident throughout my stay. The hotel itself boasts an elegant and well-maintained interior, offering a serene and relaxing ambiance. The dining options were exceptional, featuring a wide array of culinary delights that catered to various tastes. I want to share my brief experience at this facility. Initially, they refused to refund me despite proof of non-entry to the country. Despite attempts from Expedia and direct messages, they showed no flexibility. However, they did agree to reschedule my stay. Upon arrival, the reception directed us to a room that looked nothing like the pictures on Expedia – it was really tiny. We accepted it, but later, when I took a shower, water leaked under the door and even went outside the room. When we called the reception, the staff member was rude, insinuating that we didn't know how to shower and even raising his voice. Despite showing him the issue with the door's isolation, he claimed he had never encountered this problem before. He acknowledged it was their mistake only after one day when I showed him the problem again. He offered us another room on the first floor, but it was very noisy due to its proximity to the shops. When we asked to return to our initial room, he was rude again, claiming that we had used two rooms. Regarding cleanliness, the drapes were clean. Overall, I'd like to thank the blonde girl who showed great empathy and the guy who helped us to our room initially (I think he was the cleaner ). Unfortunately, the other staff member's behavior cost you this bad review.
