Dear Nabu Team, Thank you very much for your kind message. We were very satisfied with our stay at your hotel. Everything was excellent — the hotel was clean, the breakfast was just right, and the location was perfect. It was very easy to reach everywhere we wanted to go, as public transportation was very close. What impressed us the most was the friendliness and helpfulness of the hotel staff — especially Mr. Fatih, who was incredibly supportive and kind. Hospitality was phenomenal, we were thinking of taxi from hotel to Port, but instead, one of the hotel staff carried our luggage and escorted us by foot to the port, saving us time and money. This is above and beyond any expectation, and it shows kindness of this place.

Our experience at Nabu was great, located in a perfect area to see the Galata Tower, the port promenade and much more on foot, a quiet area but with enough great places to dine and more. Totally recommended.

I think of NABU as my home in Istanbul. The area is lively and so convenient to everyplace I want to go. I won’t try to mention all the staff name as I am uncertain of spelling but they are all great!

The hotel staff were very kind and helpful. One staff member even walked with me to find a restaurant with vegan options. I really appreciated their hospitality. The breakfast was plentiful and very delicious. The cook even stopped by my table to make sure everything was ok with the food I was really glad for the salad and fresh fruit. My room was very clean. However, because the hotel is located right in the middle of a very active tourist area with many restaurants, bars and cafes, it was very loud at night. I could hear the music from outside on the street until 2am. I could smell cigarette smoke maybe from the first floor or maybe from the exhaust system. I could not sleep. I covered my nose with the sheet to block the smoke. I wish I had some ear plugs. If you don’t mind the smell of cigarette smoke, bring some ear plugs to block the street noise and this would be a good choice for a hotel.

Nabu is a wonderful hotel - not too small, not too large! So convenient to everything - many restaurants and important tourist sites Next to Galataport, but also only 4 minutes to the most useful tram stop Just moments from the Golden Horn and Galata Bridge. I have visited Istanbul 9 times over last 20 years and will stay at Nabu whenever I next visit. The hotel staff are so friendly and helpful for any needs a guests might have.

Terrific location, especially for boarding cruises at Galataport, and the property is well maintained and offered a very nice breakfast. The area is noisy at night, though, so not ideal for light sleepers.
