I’m not sure why this property is rated high. Nothing special here. Very noisy from surroundings. NO AC, yes it’s false advertisement for air conditioning, it doesn’t work. You’ll have to open the windows because it’s hot and again you can’t sleep because of the noise. Bring your white noise machine.The staff were nice, they helped me with local recommendations and got me a taxi to go the airport. In The room, things weren’t working properly, lights weren’t bright enough, and other things

Stayed September 2022. Overall was what I wanted. Safe, quiet, and clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful! Only inconvenience is the property was a bit hard to find, you have to really know where you're going when looking for it. Otherwise, I give it 5 stars overall!

While the property was not so easy to find in the first instance as it is on a side street, once checked in and familiar with the navigation, it is a stone's throw from the popular Istiklal Street and Taksim Square. There is a tram stop Tophance and metro stop Sishane within walking distance, which makes it convenient to go anywhere in Istanbul. Even though there are lots of bars and pubs nearby, our room on the 4th floor was quiet as it faced the residential blocks behind. Ask for Room 8 if it is available. The service staff at the reception was most helpful and every request is attended to swiftly. Room is large, clean and we cannot ask for more. Internet connectivity was fast and good. I cannot ask for more at the price that we paid.

Just close enough to Istikal Street to walk there easily, and just far enough to avoid the noise and much of the craziness of the nightlife. Very historic hotel, everything was clean and the hosts were excellent. Highly recommend this place!

A home away from home
The location is perfect for exploring Istanbul if you want to avoid the hustle and bustle of Sultanahmet, but still close enough that its easily accessible within 10 minutes by public transport. Galata tower is about a 5 minute walk and Istiklal street is a few streets behind. The hotel itself is in a quiet street away from any noise, minimalistic and with a selection of rooms at excellent price points. The team are extremely welcoming and helpful. There are lots of little shops and cafes around for all your needs. This is our second time staying at the Novus Pera Hotel and suffice to say this is our future base for Istanbul breaks. We love it.

Property was as advertised. Very satisfied with everything. However area surrounding needed a good clean up with new paving and renovating of existing buildings. A pity as it is so close to some lovely restaurants and hotels such as the Pera Palace.

Lovely stay! Quiet spot in a big city
Perfect location and the room and bathroom were nice, clean, and spacious. Very quiet despite the central location. Easy to walk, metro, tram, and water taxi across the city. Do not recommend the airport pickup service - it’s not a person waiting for you individually but rather a large company managing multiple drivers and vehicles. We had to wait an unreasonable amount of time. Use the regular airport taxi (line outside of baggage claim) or the online pick up scheduler on the IST website- about the same price and faster.

Super friendly industrial style NYC small hotel
Super cute small hotel in a great location in Istanbul. Lots of cafés & restaurants and shops close by yet still tucked away in a side street. Industrial style rooms and decor a little NYC in Istanbul. Clean and comfy with good bathrooms. Lovely staff, really helpful and relaxed, nothing was too much trouble. This will definitely be our hotel stop in Istanbul each time we come from now on! A wonderful find and lives up to its reviews.

I had the front facing room on the top floor with a balcony. It was superb. Not a great view, but great to sit there after a busy day with a beer. So close to restaurants and bars and the tunnel train to the port. My only dislike was as a single traveller being sat on my own at breakfast. The coffee needs upgrading too!
