The room and the hotel were so clean. The breakfast was acceptable, my favourite meal was cheese spring roll, sausage and tea. The mini pancakes were not fresh however. In overall I give 10/10 to this hotel.

Hotel was on point for cleanliness, decor and comfortable room and bed. Only concern was the shower as it was draining very slowly creating a soapy pool. Unpleasant feeling along with a worry it would spill over. Could be specific to the room but hotel should check them all. Selected this one for airport shuttle convenience as it is located right outside. Would stay again.

1. Having to park in an offsite garage at the end of the street and walking back and forth was a major inconvenience. For a 5-star hotel, professional valet service should be standard. 2. Room I had was very noisy. I can here people talking outside the street and garbage trucks picking up garbage. 3. Hotel Staff were friendly 4. Hotel location on spot and close from everything

The hotel staff were very polite, kind, and helpful. However, as soon as we entered our room, we noticed that it had not been cleaned properly. The bed linens had not been changed, and the pillows smelled of the previous guest’s perspiration. After we complained, the staff responded immediately and made every effort to replace everything.

The hotel is a 20 second walk from the terminus of the Havaist bus from Istanbul airport to Taksim Square making it perfect for an overnight stay if you have an overnight layover in Istanbul and don’t quality for the Turkish Airlines free hotel. Reasonable rates and in very good condition.

You climate is not working, always 18 degrees if you turn the heating/AC to 22 degrees only cold air comes out, we have been here 5 times now maybe the last. Last time you upgraded us to a "hot" room which was north oriented why not grant us with a south oriented room where the sun is ??? the best about the hotel is your breakfast at 9th floor with a spectacular view, and the location is perfect as well next to taksim square

The staff were very helpful . I had a noisy room on the trafficated street side and they switched it and moved my stuff and had placed a fruit basket gift at the new room. One thing to improve: the pillow option. Softer and lower pillow

After visiting Istanbul 12 times in 9 months - staying the most times on Point Hotel but also at Nippon and First Hotel my concrusions is that Point Hotel gives the most value for the money. There have been some issues but the when you address the issue the helpfull people on the hotel take action right away. The location and the breakfast on 9th floor is outstanding. In Istanbul Airport go right when you exit security, elevators go down to bus, driving directly to Point hotel , price 460lira, just ask for Taksim bus. Check in have a drink on Farao just opposite the street and take a nice walk (5 min) to Taksim Square. Have your Chai and a nice cake. Book table at Nusr-Et if you like steak, best steak in town. My favorite iskender kebab place was unfortunately transferred to an ice house, and the Turkish ice is not good, go for Gelateria instead a couple of them available. The Point Hotel is perfectly situated for small getaways, they have spa, massage options etc. but I haven't checked them out I just like to stay local and the staff recognizes you every time.Furthermore the prices are very competitive, half price of First Hotel where they have an outstanding bar at 19th floor, but you can still go to the penthouse bar eventhough you are not staying at that specific hotel, enjoy Istanbul , I do all the time, my favorite places are: Tokyo, Istanbul, New York, Lisbon, and Copenhagen where I live. Enjoy life and travel a lot - I hereby recomend Point Hotel Taksim

Great location; pleasant stay

Fantastic location for access to the Taksim area and public transport links. Generally a nice hotel with good facilities and pleasant staff. Could do with a bit of updating/improving in certain areas, but all in all ok.
