On a quiet street, walking distance to major attractions and the sea broadwalk. Reasonably priced. Its an old boutique hotel, rooms are small but clean, staff is friendly, decent breakfast custom omlets and coffees. We used card to keep ac running during our stay.

We enjoyed the hotel and staff very much. If you want a boutique hotel that is designed in the Turkish style, you’ll love it. Orhan was top notch and helped us around the hotel, talking about the city, and is connected throughout the city. The hotel also coordinated our round trip airport transfers.

Great little hotel in the heart of Istanbul, all within a walking distance. Fantastic service, we even had breakfast included in the price. Room was bit smaller than expected btu all basic ameneties worked. Call the hotel direct for a better deal.

The staff was exceptionally helpful and friendly. They went above and beyond to make sure that our stay was a good one. The Buffay breakfast was a lot of fun specially, for the kids they get to order their own kind of omelette It’s a small boutique hotel with a very traditional feel. It is close to everything. I love the old style roads leading up to the hotel.

The location was perfect about 10mins walk max from the blue mosque, topkapi palace n Hagia sofia 5mins away from Arasta Bazar. Lots of places to eat out. The rooms were very differently decorated ottoman style. The staff Emre, Orhan and Hurside were totally amazing. They were amazing, nothing was too much for them.

We stayed at the Sultan Tughra Hotel for 5 nights. The hotel staff are very helpful and the service is amazing. When we are back the manager Yildiz often serves us hot tea. Yildiz has done the above and beyond to help out when I need some help with the Turkish Airline. I will definitely stay in this charming, old-world mansion again. Anne

The staff at Sultan Tughra went above and beyond during our stay to make us feel comfortable in Istanbul. We had to check out early for our flight to Kayseri and they arranged breakfast for us at 5 am. We have never experienced such kind of service before. Thank you.

We had the most wonderful time at the hotel. Each one in their staff were very attentive and they made me feel welcomed at the hotel. They were warm and friendly and they were always ready to assist with guidance and suggestions to visit the best sites and restaurants in town. I recommend this place highly as it is safe, it is clean, and super close to historic sites. The staff made me feel like I was part of their family.Their hospitality went above and beyond my expectations making my trip to Turkey a great and enjoyable adventure. The location in Istanbul was unbeatable. Truly amazing; however, the hotel was average. It wasn’t as clean as I would have liked and it was a bit dated. Also, we were placed in the bottom section of rooms which only had a very small window, so no sunlight. Also, during the night there were kids playing until 2am which kept us awake. It was a bit frustrating. Lastly, the breakfast was good and the staff were awesome.

I realize now, a week after coming back home, that we got a tiiiny economy room in the basement, even if we booked and paid for a bigger, standard room (which clearly had natural light and windows on the pictures, unlike the basement...) I guess i was in a good mood and didnt realise at the time but this is really NOT okay. Positive points: the staff is very friendly and the neighborhood is SO pretty and cosy, also very close to the touristic area while being very quiet. Negative points: the smell in the room is AWFUL (i dont know if it smells like passion fruit or cat pee but it´s bad, and since you cant really open the window it lingers and makes it hard to sleep), no space to open our luggage, and on our last day there was no hot water (its an old house in an old part of town so it can happen, and in the end it didnt matter too much, it´s almost a fun memory). Also the TV is not working but we werent there to watch tv so it was ok.

The photos on the Expedia site and Google are misleading, the rooms are so small two people struggle to fit in the room the room they gave us was underground with no windows no fresh air and the hotel had a very bad odour all around the bathroom facilities are disgusting and no employee speaks english so communication is impossible. I had booked for 4 nights and literally 5 minutes after check in had to leave the property it’s not fit to be a hotel and trying to get a refund you get sent from the hotel to Expedia and back 100 times and the hotel refuses to give the money back even though we were there for 5 minutes.Please think very carefully about wasting your money in this hotel the condition is very very poor and you will regret it.
