We had a wonderful experience at this hotel, thanks to Mahmood and the entire staff. Unfortunately, my husband broke his foot during our trip and we needed to rent a wheelchair. We had originally booked two nights and tried to return home early, but when that wasn’t possible, Mahmood managed to extend our stay for two additional nights even though the hotel was fully booked. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay as comfortable as possible. They guided us on accessible places to visit given our situation, allowed us to stay in the room past checkout, and arranged a taxi to the airport. Their kindness and support made a huge difference. I highly recommend this hotel for its outstanding staff, excellent facilities, and great location.

The friendliness, warmth and cooperation of the team was amazing, both Isa and Mahmoud were the highlight of the stay. My flight got several cancelations due to the war and closure of sir space, and chose to extend here. Room is fantastic, service is excellent

I recently stayed here and the best part of the hotel was the excellent staff. They are so kind and helpful. If you need anything they will make sure they help you as soon as they can. Overall we really enjoyed our stay. The staff especially Isa, were really helpful and welcoming throughout the duration of our visit. They went out of their way to provide excellent service for example booking us cheaper taxis, recommending sites to visit and providing advice on which mode of transport was best to take. The rooms were clean and modern. The hotel is a 10-15 minute walk from Taksim square and a convenient location to get to both areas on the Asian and European side of Turkey. The area around the property seemed unsafe at first but we got used to it and we didn’t have any problems, even travelling at night. The hotel is at the bottom of a steep hill so be prepared to walk the incline. The WiFi could be improved, it was quite slow at times. The walls were also thin so we could hear loud conversations from the room next door but the staff were helpful when we complained and tried to ask the other guests to quieten down.

Very welcoming and helpful. The location was great but did required you to hike up a steep hill as you exit the hotel to go get public transportation or to the main area where there are restaurants.

Best experience ever staying at Meridiani Taksim Hotel in Istanbul Hotel staff was such so caring and compassionate Specially Mahmood and also Enes Sahar and Omer were so cooperative and friendly. Breakfast was so good and quickly served whenever we reached in the dining room and a lot of variety was served. Thanks to the chef. It was such a nice feeling coming back to the hotel after spending the whole day visiting the lovely places in Istanbul Everything was clean in the room every day and was well maintained , water was refilled and welcoming smiles of the hotel staff made our stay worthwhile . I really felt like being at home there. A lot of reviews showed that there was an uphill walk but there were many different ways to reach there and there was a bus stop right near the hotel which can take you the desired bus stop or you can walk to taksim square and can get all sorts of means of transportation. In short the hotel service made our trip so amazing I would surely love to stay there again whenever I plan my vacation in turkey next time.

The hotel itself is very clean and organized. Amazing staff, very helpful and friendly. They would do anything to make sure their guests are happy and comfortable. However, the area where the hotel is located is not a good neighborhood. I didn’t feel safe at night in this area and it’s also a steep hill to walk to transportations. Moreover, during my stay there was some building renovations in the area which causes noise during daytimes.

The stay at the hotel was wonderful and beautiful. The workers are very nice, respectful and experienced. Mahmoud is a respectful person who loves to help, and Omar is a respectful person who does not hesitate to serve and help. The lady who works in the morning is very respectful and elegant. I loved the place and I advise everyone not to hesitate to book and stay in this comfortable and very clean hotel. Thank you for the help and service. See you soon. I am from Canada, Toronto. I highly recommend this hotel. As another review stated, it looks much better in person than in photos which rarely happens in Türkiye. We travelled for three weeks in Türkiye and tried to keep our accommodation cost on the lower side. This hotel was by far the best we stayed in. The staff are amazing and so helpful. The breakfast is the same every day but it’s lovely. The hotel is newly renovated and clean. It’s a short but steep uphill walk to Taksim. As long as you are in reasonable shape you’ll be fine. It’s only really steep for the first half of the walk. Starbucks is also across the street. If I come back to Istanbul I’ll definitely stay here again.

We should have been given a better room upon check-in without this annoying noise, and lack of privacy (as we could see construction workers directly at our window almost each morning).

Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist wirklich gut, und die Lage in der Nähe des Taksim-Platzes ist ideal, um die Stadt zu erkunden. Besonders praktisch ist auch der günstige externe Parkplatz direkt nebenan (ca. 10 €/Tag). Verbesserungswürdig sind allerdings die dünnen Wände – man konnte leider einiges aus dem Nebenzimmer hören. Außerdem sind einige Ausstattungsdetails etwas abgenutzt, zum Beispiel das WC. Insgesamt aber ein angenehmer Aufenthalt mit gutem Service und fairen Preisen.
