Hard to get around without your own vehicle;hilly and not walkable. Also, I had a course dinner at Fuji restaurant which was poor at best and there was no other option. The lodging and the service by the staff was great though.

Beautiful area. Rooms with private onsen are fantastic. Great view of Mount Fuji beyond the trees in the room I stayed in. The drive up to the facilities is amazing. Amenities are great and shuttles/busses exist but it would be difficult leaving the area without a car. The facilities cover a pretty large area up a mountain which is something to note. Zero complaints for my stay, everything was fantastic.

It's a very large property with separate buildings spread around a golf course. Our room had a private hot spring and a view of Mt Fuji. But the tatami room had no chairs, so don't choose a room like that if you're not flexible enough to sit on the floor. But the staff moved us to the adjoining Marriott building which seems to be the same company. We lost the private hot spring, but were much more comfortable there. The staff were very helpful.

The main building where concierge and where breakfast/dinner is served is very far from the rooms. You always have to take a shuttle back and forth. The best part was the private onsen in your suite which was the main reason why we booked this place. Very far from the nearest subway but they had a shuttle pick you up.

Excellent hotel with fair price
The room with in-room spa with Mt Fuji view is fantastic. The room is spacious, nice, clean and warm. The dinner price was a bit expensive in the hotel and there were no other nearby restaurants that was available as night. The restaurants nearby close quite early and ended up need to return to the station for dinner. The location is a bit inconvenient as it is on top of a hill, so it is better to have a car. Lots of parking space is provided.

Hotel away from tourists
Complete relaxation. The room is good and nice but without wifi. Private onsen is a very good experience. Dinner is served in main building and the food quality is good.

山紫水明に宿泊したので他の宿泊施設は分かりませんが、食事するにも、大浴場に行くにも、自販機でビールを買うにも、別館に徒歩又はシャトルバスで移動する必要があります。老夫婦や小さい子供連れのには大変だと思います。私達は天候に恵まれましたが、雨だと更に大変かなと思います。

部屋や環境に関しては満足です。 しかし、スタッフの対応は最悪でした。 予約時点では大人7名で15万程度の予定、レストランでの飲み物代が1万円程度、会計は16万程度になると見越していました。 いざチェックアウトすると会計金額が19万を超えていました。 おかしいなと思いつつ、支払いを済ませて明細をもらい、一度車に戻って確認しましたが。 すると利用した部屋2室の他に全く身に覚えのない部屋番号の分の宿泊費が載っており、3万円程度加算されていました。 フロントに戻り、説明すると確認してミスだと判明します。 しかし、スタッフは全く悪びれる様子もなく、ではこちら差額を返金します。 三万円ですね。ご確認ください。 三万円の会計ミスを起こしたとは思えない白々しい対応でした。 最後に若いスタッフ1人が申し訳ございませんでしたと言ってくれましたが、そこまで至るまでの対応たら態度には不満しかありません。 サービス業はミスが生じることも多分にあると思いますが、誠意は全くありませんでした。 因みにレストランスタッフの接客も非常無愛想で、コースの一品ずつの説明もめちゃくちゃ適当です。 親の還暦祝いの旅行でしたが、後味の悪い思い出となってしまいました。 2度といきません。

家族風呂やお部屋の間取りに関しては非常に満足。朝夕食プランにしたが、夕食に関してはそこそこでした。和牛への 2,500円のアップグレードしたが及第点未満。また、チェックイン・アウトでゲストルームまで行かないといけない点は不便でした。
