"Our stay at the Bamboo Hotel was truly wonderful. The grounds are absolutely stunning, and the unique architectural design—where you can gaze out at the ocean as if it’s a living, breathing TV screen—is incredibly relaxing. The rooms were spotless and clearly well-maintained; the staff does an exceptional job keeping everything clean and comfortable. Service was excellent—everyone was warm, attentive, and eager to make our stay enjoyable. The food was delicious, and we especially loved the fresh juices—they were refreshing and full of flavor. Overall, we highly recommend the Bamboo Hotel to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway surrounded by beautiful waters and top-notch service."

"Loved the property, its location by the sea its personel and owners. The restaurant with italian food. Service great, special mention Colin in the receprion, Joy in the restaurant and Leila who cleaned my room. Did not like the floors in the bathroom as very alippery when wet."

"We had an amazing stay at the Amani! The hotel is a perfect place for an adults-only, quiet, relaxing stay. The location was a bit outside of Paje (20 minute walk along the beach), and there were limited options for dining because of the location, but dinner is included so that meant we had a quiet, delicious dinner every night. The view of the pool, grounds, and beautiful beach were beautiful. There were lounges chairs on the beach and pool and enough for every guest - a first for us! The only downside was the large construction project next door. It didn't really affect us, but we talked to several guests who were placed in rooms with a view of the construction and a jack hammer pounding all day long. They were equally frustrated that they had not been informed in advance. Also, the hotel lists itself as a 5-star hotel. It is not, though it is certainly very nice. What really sets the Amani apart is the incredible staff. We felt pampered as if we were in a typical 5-star hotel. In particular, Hamad helped us unwind and relax from the moment we arrived until we left; Alfred was amazing with his attentiveness and constant joy; Robert never stopped anticipating what we might want or need next. We highly recommend this hotel, though you'd probably want to check in advance to make sure you have a room that is not facing the project next door (it looks like many months of work left ahead). Thank you Amani team for a wonderful 8 days! We can wait to return."

"Me and my girlfriend spent time in Zanzibar to celebrate our birthdays. I found Samawa Living as I looking for a nice Place to stay for the week. Booking our room was straightforward and they even supporting with transportation from the Airport and back, which will cost a fee since it is an hour away. Upon checking we were greeted by the host that evening and shown our beautiful room. Also the food was amazing as well. Please not that this a Muslim country for the most part and the don't eat pork. Which was fine but please make sure you try the Beef Bacon. Lastly I would recommend taking advantage of the amenities. my lady and I got a massage that was so amazing and I also spent time in the mini Gym getting some workouts in as well the ice bath. Overall we had a wonderful stay."

"This is the best villa we’ve stayed at. It’s right on Jambiani beach which is a really beautiful and calm beach (compared to Paje and those in the north such as Nungwi and Kendwa). It has only 3 villas with a pool, so there’s privacy and it’s quiet. We stayed 4 nights at the second floor villa (Bibi Juu) which had a large balcony where we had our breakfast while looking out at the Indian Ocean. Breakfast was provided by the lovely housekeeper, Rehema, and was a huge spread of eggs, fruits, different types of bread, fruit juice, granola, yogurt, coffee and milk. All the staff were friendly and helpful. Selina, the manager, provided a lot of information and readily answered all our questions. They can help you to do grocery runs and also almost anything you need like organising a bbq in the villa. There was also a security guard on the property at night who was friendly. Highly recommend Babu Villas for the perfect beach holiday in Zanzibar!"
