Great location, nice hotel but needs some tlc.
The hotels location is fabulous! There is a convenience store right underneath and restaurants nearby. However there were a few issues.
First none of the second key cards worked which they said they couldnt help with. There was a mold issue in the bathrooms on the celing and walls (to be expected of korean bathrooms I guess) the people at the front desk although tried, struggled to speak english, and when we tried to speak korean they would just try again in english even though our korean was good enough to understand - in the end we just gave up asking for help. There was also a number at the front desk to call incase no one was their but the phone was always left at the front desk too. I would highly recommend also not to paly music in the corridors after 8pm. I had an early start so needed a good nights sleep but it was quite loud.
They had obviously put money in some areas, for example to automatic toilets and big tv's. However the money would be better spent on getting rid of the mold, installing the wall hairdryer which was just left in the box so we had to hold the wall fixture to dry our hair, and fixing dents in the walls from previous tenets.
Nonetheless, we still had a nice few days in jeju, and the hotel was comfortable enough to sleep in!
The hotel is above a few small shops and a coffee chain, the view and room itself is perfect for what I was looking for. The full length windows are fantastic and allow a great view of the beach and local area. The checkin was quick and check out was just as fast.
Shower was incredible and modern as was the rest of the hotel. I wish I had stayed the previous night as well but I wasn't able to check out of my previous hotel sooner.
