I liked the surroundings. Lots of places to visit! Lots of shopping ground and delicious restaurant. I did not like the fact that the hotel seem very old.

The pictures online are deceptive, not at all what the rooms are like in person. Despite being claimed a 3 star hotel, this is more like a 2 star, or a nice hostel. During my stay, the blankets and sheets were covered in brown stains, the pillow cases were discolored and had holes in it, and the floors were blanketed in dust and grime. The shower walls were yellowing, and the toilet was also not clean as well. On top of that, the lamp on the bedside table was broken, the lamp shade was torn, and the light wouldn’t turn on. The bed was the worst part — it was like sleeping on a concrete floor, and, like the other parts of the room, was very dirty. When checking in and out, the front desk didn’t speak English at all, which is ridiculous considering this is marketed as a tourist hotel. Do not book this hotel… the pictures they post online are not from this property, and description is totally misleading. It is filthy, dirty, and dilapidated on a level I have never seen before despite traveling all over the world. Find another place to stay in Jeonju.

Good option for short stay
Ok hotel. Not a bad experience. But not the best. Good location. In centre of town so many shops and restaurants. 20 mins to Hanok village. So a good option if not staying in a home stay. Also shower sink and toilet not separate. Like walk in but not. So when you shower the whole bathroom gets wet.

Decent hotel. Amenities are very limited; shampoo, rinse, shower gel and hand soap, Sample size lotion. No coffee or tea, but there's a kettle and bottled water. Location is great.

Awesome Location Downtown Jeonju
Best place to stay downtown Jeonju. It's in the center of the hot area: lots of shops and tons of delicious restaurants. Our room had a terrace and was an awesome place to chill after the night out and during the day.

It’s okay hotel but it’s way better than other hotels. There are several motels (called hotel though) so it is the best option to stay in Jeonju. It’s in the center of Gakridangil so very convenient to move from there. Recommended!

Let’s start with the positive - the gentleman at the concierge who checked us in was really good. His english was good and clear, he was very helpful, and we had a very positive check-in experience. (Do note that they are pretty strict about check-in time. You can ONLY check in at 3pm. No problem for us as we left our suitcases with the reception and went off to explore the area.) My biggest complaint would be cleanliness of the room. Upon walking in, the room seems spacious, tidy, modern and clean. But as we settled down, I noticed several flies around the room (I smacked at least 3), and there was hair in the drawer at the dresser and dust around the edges of the drawer. Another complaint is the beds were too hard for both my friend and I. We are not very particular with beds in general, but it was a very firm sponge mattress that was quite hard. Also, there are simply no hooks at all in the shower area. The toilet is open concept - the shower and toilet areas are separated with the sink in the middle and in the open. As such, you would need to change either in the shower area or the toilet area (unless you are ok changing in front of your travel companions), but there are no hooks anywhere for your clothes, and no racks, nothing. Even the door knob was so small you probably can only place a hanger with your clothes on it. (A positive thing though is the shower area was huge.) Overall, for that price and only a night, it was a good place in a great shopping area

The hotel itself isn't in top condition. It has its fair share of wear and tear in the hallway and my room. The local area is great if you like being in the heart of things. You can hear the rumble of the bowling alley on the 2nd floor faintly on the 5th floor.

Location was good (10mins walk to Hanok Village and the cathedral). Room was very spacious for 3 people and we liked the balcony. Food in Jeonju was really good. My best so far in my many times going to Korea.

Boweling Alley on the 2nd Floor is a Deal-Breaker
Hotel is located in the heart of Jeon-ju's shopping district and is a walking distance to the Hanok village. Hotel staff were fluent in English and very helpful when queried. However, please take note that there is a BOWLING ALLEY on the 2nd floor of the hotel that opens till 2am or later daily. You WILL hear the bowling sounds when you go to sleep at night. I like Hotel Roni as the rooms were clean, comfortable and the staff were very friendly and helpful. However, there is little the hotel or the staff can do about the bowling alley that disturbed our sleep

The room was surprisingly big - we had plenty of room for our family of 4. It was modern and clean, and we wished we stayed here for our entire stay in Jeonju (we had stayed in a hanok first). It is right by the pedestrian shopping district, which we found super convenient. The breakfast was satisfactory. The only feedback I would offer is that there are no places to hang anything in the bathroom - no hooks for towels at all - which was a mild inconvenience.

Jeonju Hotel
In a modern building in a lively shopping district. Lobby was on the 4th floor, but easy to access. Quick check-in, with staff speaking English. Good sized room, as well as bathroom. Air conditioning was solid, and internet good. Area had a bunch of restaurants. About 15 minute walk to old Hanok Village and palace. Buffet breakfast was mainly Asian items, but had okay variety.

I would put my in-laws who are visiting from out of town here. It’s so convenient, and clean. A block down is noisier, but this location is great.

Came during the Jeonju International Film Festival, downtown is very nice. Close to the Hanok Village (easily walkable). No complaints, especially for the price. Had a great trip to Jeonju.

Nice western style hotel in Jeonju
Great hotel for price point and location. Can walk to the Jeonju Hanok village about 15 min away. Very helpful, friendly staff. Will stay here again if I return in the future.

I absolutely loved this hotel. It's situated in the middle of a shopping district, making it easy to get out and explore. The hotel was within what I consider walking distance to a traditional Korean village, which is an amazing tourist spot and you absolutely must go. There was also a small outside performing spot just outside the hotel; nothing like live, local entertainment. The staff was also very helpful and friendly. Unfortunately, my bag was lost at the airport, but the staff was kind enough to let me know as soon as it arrived, which is good because I was attending a wedding that day and the present was in the bag. They also helped me call a taxi and made sure that I got the wedding on time. Everyone was so incredibly kind and the room was huge. Comfortable beds, large bath tub, and a big screen TV - perfect. I will definitely be booking this hotel again in the future should I need to be in Jeon-Ju.

Location of the hotel right in the centre of town. Got a private transport to send us there so not sure whether hotel is near any transportation hub. Stayed only a night in the hotel so nothing much to write about except there are plenty of eateries near the hotel. The shops are all within a min walk.

Convenient location
It's a newer hotel in what appears to be the downtown of Jeonju. I would stay here for two days maximum, but four days is overkill since there's not much to do. They clean the rooms super late (at least for me, it was at around 3-4). My boyfriend found it uncomfortable that the shower wasn't separated from the toilet but I've seen that a lot in Korea and I think it is normal. They included the breakfast, and some people would complain but they had the usual western (toast, cereal, boiled eggs, scrambled Eggs, bacon) and korean breakfast which I thought it was great. You can't really go wrong with breakfast unless you have high expectations for whatever reason. Location is around 7000 won from the train station and the hotel will call you a taxi if you would like.
