The cost for this hotel is really competitive. If you arrive late at the Pudong Airport, this hotel is super convenient. The original deco was great. The breakfast is good. You can also take a cab to a nearby metro station for a nominal price. However, the maintenance is not top of line. You can see wear and tear, and dust accumulating. Overall it is a good deal as you can hardly beat the price.

The Grand Mansion is very conveniently located next to the President’s Palace and Six Dynasties Museum. We even got free museum admissions from the hotel. Our room was clean and spacious. Hotel stuff was very accommodating and helpful. We did not get to use the amenities due to our tight schedule. But the services we used were excellent. Highly recommended.
