Nice room - clean, modern, and love the hot spring tub in the room. Very friendly and helpful staffs. Breakfast was a big surprise, very delicious. The only downside is that our rooms face a large hotel, with not much of a view. Other than that, it is almost perfect.

We spent four nights at the Shangri-La and really enjoyed it. The hotel is centrally located just a few minutes' walk from an MRT station and one of Taipei's better night markets. Courteous staff, 24/7 lounge with coffee, beverages and snacks, the Oasis suite was very spacious, exquisitely clean and modern decor.

A fairly busy town that caters a lot for Taiwanese visitors who come to experience the hot springs. We visited because our son works at a local university. We found that it was a reasonable base from which to visit other places plus the hot springs.
