"It was as good as I'd hoped. If you want to step back in time a bit, enjoy a feeling of history this is it. Disappointed that the pool was closed, not something mentioned at the time of booking. We upgraded to a larger room, which probably wasn't entirely necessary - it was very spacious, though. View of the downtown area. Bed was super comfortable. And a nice steakhouse right off of the lobby. Will return."

"The room was very clean. The staff was very helpful when needed. My AC was a wee bit on the noisy side but still doable w/o discomfort. The bar and entertainment was great. The pool was very clean and the area around the pool was clean. For an older hotel it was very nice. I much prefer a hotel you can walk right on out to your car to. Also, it was not noisy at all and my room was ground level around the pool. I would definitely stay here again as long as the owner/management and level of cleanliness stays the same."
