"Beautiful grounds. Quiet place to stay. Comfortable beds and very clean. We loved it. No pool or hot tub on the hotel site so you have to pay to use the facility at the Athletic Club next door. I was told they used to give free passes to the guests. They should do that again."

"We like staying here when in town. Good location and it’s quiet. They are pet friendly too. Pool was closed down permanently and filled with dirty at time of stay. Not sure why. Rooms are clean and nice. Mattress and pillows in my opinion need to be upgraded a bit. Rough on body when staying multiple nights. "

"It was a great stay, house keeping staff was good and quick. It was nice coming back to a clean room. The only bad thing is the toilets where way too small, not a simple request obviously, but as someone who isn’t really that “big” i felt uncomfortable and off trying to use them. "

"Room was clean enough. Breakfast was nice, many offerings, but it said initially that it was included on Expedia's site. You find out that you have to pay $25.00 upon arrival for a ticket for a glass of wine or beer in the evening, and breakfast. Not quite truth in advertising. Overall, a good experience."

"Why leave the Madonna Inn when you can do it all there. No, but really! It has everything!!!! The town of SLO is cute too, but wow this place really has it all! Live music, spa, pool, cafe/bakery, restaurant, garden, horse trail riding… & more. All the rooms are unique and the staff is very friendly. Thank you Mrs. Madonna for keeping the dream going! "The spa in the room, was not hot at all. Other then that, we enjoyed our time there."

"The property is nice and clean. However, it's right next to the freeway so it's pretty loud. The receptionist who checked us in didn't informed us that the parking is nnot free. All she said was it's going to be $100 deposit as an accidental incident. When we checked out in the morning, we were charged $20 for parking. With that said, we're not planning on stay here again!! I like people/workers to be transparent!!"
