Hotels near Jungle Jim's Playland

"We checked in later in the day to a full hotel. Our beds were made but that’s about it. There were dirty counters and side tables that I had to wipe down myself and no towels in the restrooms. The girl at the front desk stated the hotel was full due to conventions in town and offered to come wipe down the room for us. Hallways needed to be vacuumed and my spouse thought the hallway stunk. It’s a shame because the hotel looks good on the outside, the staff was friendly, and it was a perfect location near our venue. Sad to say we would not recommend. "

"I searched for the hotel in provo and it booked me in Midvale. Tried calling both hotels and neither were of any help. Absolutely the worst customer service I have ever dealt with at a hotel."

"At first look, the room seemed fine-ish. Got in late so we didn't look around thoroughly. The next day is when we started seeing the issues. The bathroom had mold growing on the ceiling above the shower. There was a very large sliced open bubble of the ceiling that drooped down that had clearly previously held a large amount of water. There were other small bubbles growing along the wall too. The shower head was crusted. When we each showered, the water didn't drain. Like the drain needed to be cleaned out. The bathroom sink faucet was loose and the drain under the counter leaked slightly. The kitchen area was okay, dusty and old. On night 2 we found a cockroach on the counter. The beds were lumpy and uncomfortable. There were hairs in the sheets/bedding. The TV remote had not been cleaned in a while and had stuff on it. The door to the room had a gap between the frame and the door edge. There was a building alarm that was going off down the hall from the time we arrived on our 2nd night until we left the next morning, about 8 hours. No clue how long it had been going before then or how long it went on after that. The elevator clearly runs into something when between the first and second floor. I believe we were given the room we had because we had our dog with us. Staff was fine, no issues. I didn't raise any of these concerns at the hotel as the SLC marathon was going on and I was told on check in that they were full because of that. It was that room or sleep in the car."

"The tub was nasty. There was black nasty stuff in the corners of the shower. The toilet ran ALL night. A smoke alarm battery right outside our door beeped all night. The sheets and floor were clean and those were the only positives."

"I checked in, all went well. On my way to the room I noticed filth and I saw people huddled together in the parking lot that looked like transients. Come to find out the place is drug infested. The parking lot, sidewalks, stairs, walls, doors were really filthy, you didn't want to touch anything. Doors and locks were damaged, damage throughout the room. I checked out the next morning. "

"The hot tub has been broken down for a long time according to the front desk staff. The hot tub was the reason that property was picked above others. The buttons in my heater/air conditioner were all ripped off so I had to push random "buttons" to try to get it turned on and to the correct mode and temperature. Breakfast was an absolute joke. No juices, no eggs, no meats, etc. Never staying there again."
