"The lake and mountain views were worth the price alone. The Ryokan itself is very beautiful and traditional, the tatami and sliding paper doors made it feel like we had gone back in time. The onsen is nice and note that it is for separate male and female, so if you want to share the experience with family or partner you may not be able to. "This was my second stay at the Richmond Hotel-Tokyo Musashino. I would recommend it to anyone visiting the Kichijoji area of Tokyo. It is within any easy walking distance of Mitaka Station. Their buffet-style restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. It is reasonably priced and the buffet has an abundance of selections. My room was clean and comfortable and I enjoyed my 2 week stay there."

"The Wild Cherry Blossom hostel was a wonderful discovery.The staff were very friendly and knowlegeable about the local area.My cabin was a private room and was very comfortable and exceptionally clean as were the shower and bathroom facilities.The communal lounge and kitchen facilities were very well organised and spacious and there were many interesting events to participate in if you wanted. I would highly recommend The Wild Cherry Blossom."
