Rooms are spacious and comfortable with excellent beds and showers. Toiletries are free and available at reception where staff are very friendly, helpful and warm. Breakfast is ace with lots of tasty options suited to both western palate and local interest. The hotel is really well located with easy walking to the market, local restaurants, and fun bars!

The Hotel is a fair bit from the train station but is a walkable distance. It is very convenient for a lot of City center sites like the Kenroku-en Garden, the Omicho Market, the Samurai House and the Castle. The room is lovely and the bed is comfortable. The pajamas are also very comfortable. The staff was helpful, loaned us umbrellas and arranged a taxi for us when we left (It was pouring rain which changes my definition of walkable.) I have stayed in several different Mitsui Garden properties over the years and have liked them all.

Conveniently, the hotel is minutes from the train station. It’s the first time we stayed at a Mitsui Gardens. These hotels are lovely. The staff at the Kanazawa is very polite and helpful. The breakfast is extraordinary. Five stars.

Top floor private bath is amazing. Hotel was much nicer than we expected for the price. Great value. Restaurant menu looked amazing but we ate at the markets. Close to everything.

The moment you walk into the hotel entry the pleasant smell of incense greets you! The staff is excellent and kind and the onsen is great! The rooms are spacious, much bigger than Tokyo rooms, and they cleaned daily. Definitely recommend!
