The host did everything he could to make our stay pleasent. We had s varied breakfast trying out local products. The garden is very beautiful. We had a wonderful terrace overlooking the hills and a small outdoor kitchen.

Fantastic home
Immaculate and superb architecture and decor. A wonderful house and very high standards. Professionally delivered. Superb English speaking. Breakfast was very good indeed and the hosts even put together drinks and food one evening which was splendid. 5 star stay

Besides the long steps up to our room, this was a very pleasant stay for my sisters and I. The owner was very nice and welcomed us. The property has such a beautiful view. The property itself is very cozy sitting on a hill. Every morning breakfast is served, fresh eggs, delicious toast, juice and tea. The owner's son was very friendly and engaged in a fun conversation in our room, very nice family. We stayed in the apartment that made us feel right at home. Thankyou for the great hospitality! I would definitely stay here again when I visit Sri Lanka.

Room with a View
The walk up the steep driveway was worth it! Our hosts made us feel very welcome and opened up their house to us. We had a spacious private room with en-suite. Only 3 rooms. Nice to walk around the garden. It was lovely to interact with other travelers and our hosts. Short tuktuk trip into Kandy town centre.

Excellent host and a great stay overall. Let us check-in early which we greatly appreciate as we came straight from the airport in the early morning. Just that there are many steps to the room which might be a little tiring for older people.

Highly recommend
I arrived late at night due to delayed flight followed by bad traffic. The owner was very attentive and stay up to welcome me at arrival. Because we had communicated online before and throughout my journey to the guest house, I felt safe and looked after well. The house is elegant and very clean. Breakfast was just like home.

We have been really well received at Marvel Hills and our host have helped us with our trip. I lost my phone during the night and they did everything they could to find it. We just want to say thank you again for your kindness and the time you spent with us.

Awesome and beautiful
It is a very nice and beautiful hotel. A big clean room in the near of town center. The breakfast was the best I had in my whole stay on Sri Lanka. The host is very helpful and has always time for a good talk.

Hôtel de charme
Architecture étonnante pour cet hôtel perché sur la colline situé à 15 minutes à pied du lac. Très bon accueil chambre spacieuse très bon petit déjeuner. Je recommande vivement cet établissement

キャンディーの丘の上のにある素晴らしい宿泊施設です。
キャンディーの駅・バスターミナルから徒歩１０分程の丘の上にあるホテルです。オーナーの邸宅の上に宿泊できる部屋があります。私が宿泊した部屋は、入口を入ってすぐに小さなリビングルームとその奥にキッチン、大きなベッドルームとバスルームのついた申し分のない部屋でした。朝食はスリランカでは平均的なものでしたが、清潔で景観のよい部屋はお勧めできるものです。 唯一の難点は、丘の上にあるために、仏歯寺や町の中心から徒歩で戻るのが大変なことです。出かけるときは下りなので良いのですが、戻りはトゥクトゥクになります。
