"Lovely stay at the guesthouse. Very homey and welcoming. Wendy was an excellent host who helped us with ordering taxi and recommendations to nearby restaurants. The tatami beds were amazing comfortable. Other guests were respectful and we had no problems sharing common spaces. It was a pleasure staying at the restored Japanese house. Love the quiet residential neighborhood."

"Aside from the size of the room which was very small with bed pushed to the side of the wall, everything else was excellent. Getting up and off the bed was hard for the person sleeping against the wall. In general, the hotel was very clean although there was an instance when the staff were chasing a rat out of the hotel on the ground floor. "Great room, plenty roomy for working with your luggage. The bed isn’t the most comfortable but in general not bad at all. The washroom doesn’t have a lock on it so it’s best shared with someone you’re very comfortable with. Cleanliness overall is great. It’s true that the hallways have a weird odor but I don’t find the smell to linger nor permeate into the rooms themselves.
