"The wife and I spent two nights and really enjoyed ourselves. The room was clean, the hottub was really nice, and the area was beautiful. An up to date room would have been nice, but for the price, no complaints from us. "

"Look, if you're just looking for a place to crash/sleep when visiting Williamsburg and aren't too picky, or a "Karen", this place will suffice. Otherwise, you may want to look elsewhere. The property overall does not match the outside façade or lobby. The room was typical hotel "meh"...nothing exceptionally good OR bad about it. The "Continental" breakfast ended up just being orange juice and coffee. But the only real, legitimate complaints I can offer are that the pool water desperately needed a shock treatment and the hot tub water was NOT acceptable whatsoever. I'd have been fine without a hot tub at all, but if you're going to have one in your facility and brag about it, it needs to be maintained, cleaned, and treated properly. Overall, nothing except "first-world"/"luxe" problems to report. Otherwise, it IS a safe place to sleep."
