Hotels with smoking rooms in Kashiko Island

Everything was top notched except that food places are very expensive. No nearby alternatives unless you drive.

Conveniently located near the train station, Kashikojima. The western breakfast was amazing.. the view was stunning. We had our dinner and the Michelin stared French restaurant and the teppanyaki. Both were great. Staff were very helpful and friendly. We will return to this hotel during spring.

Appreciate that there was a Taiwanese staff who was able to communicate with us. She was helpful too, helping us with recommendations on nearby restaurants as well as some refund. Breakfast is excellent! Room is spacious, clean and there is a nice view from the window. The only minor ‘negative’ is that the onsen door is unlocked all the time and I always worried some male may come in by mistake. Overall a pleasant stay.

A very charming resort with very beautiful surroundings. We booked the villa and the room is spacious. The loft is spacious but the stairs were quite steep. Unfortunately, the public bath is under upgrading works during our stay and we did not get to use it.

Very charming hotel with individual chalets. The first one offered unfortunately smelled like wet dog, but we were promptly offered another one that had no smell. I was told that the restaurant was busy and nothing was offered... so once we did the Check in, I went having dinner elsewhere. There are BBQ for rent and a swimming pool for summer.

The room was clean and had a beautiful view. The staff was also very helpful. There was free parking for guests as well. We really enjoyed the public bath, there were many onsens with varying temperatures.

Very unique sleeping experience

dated but clean hotel. major issue was the futon bed (couldn't get a western room) - had sore back by the 4th night

Room is clean and spacious, and front desk receptionists are helpful. A good spread of food for the complimentary breakfast. Appreciate the availability of umbrellas for guests to use on rainy days. However only a small number of parking lots are available for guests. Need to travel a distance to another carpark instead.

Stayed at this hotel for one night on a visiting Ise Shrine. The cleanliness of both the rooms and facilities was commendable, and the hotel was equipped with all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay. One minor suggestion would be the provision of additional bottled water in the rooms, or clear information regarding the drinkability of tap water. The public bath facility, although not an onsen, offered a large bath that was quite relaxing. We did not have the opportunity to try the...
