"It’s a good experience with traditional Japanese style room. Although it’s very timid for us to use the public bath the first time, but once you get used to it. It’s quite a nice experience with the onsen. There is no private shower room by the way. In case anyone wonder. "

"Nice traditional room, and fun Japan-style resort experience. The cave onsen is phenomenal! Also convenient that the Lawson’s is on site near the lobby. Only downside, I was hoping for a spa-like massage, but bypassed since it had the ambiance of a physical therapy or bone-setting clinic. "

"Tried to check out and could not as they did not have staff to take payment. Had to leave to make it to bus in order to catch my train and flight. Has to go to extraordinary lengths to pay them after. Also extremely overpriced for this hotel, would never come back."

"Whole hotel looks like it was good 20 years ago and someone just forgot to do anything with it since. We booked a non smoking room but when we entered the room the smoke was so heavy I could taste it and there were burn marks all over the carpet. We asked to be moved and got a new room which smellt like a mixture of smoke and peppermint airfreshener to hide it. At least in this room it was still manageable. Stains in the carpet but bedlinnen and bathroom were clean. Personell was friendly...
