Everything about this place is top notch. It’s clean - and I mean clean, clean - , the staff is fantastic, food is great, and the rooms are spacious. Good location, too. We were made feel welcome from the moment we arrived, and they remembered me by name or room number without me having to say anything. Wonderful.
Nepal itself is absolutely amazing, too. One of the best trips of our lives. City is super clean; no garbage bags scattered everywhere and no sewage- or garbage-smells. Artisans...

I am a frequent traveller and I can honestly say this is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in. The staff were fantastic, the hotel is beautiful, characterful and spotlessly clean. It’s a bit of a warren which adds to the period feel. I really hope I have the opportunity to return soon and if you are travelling to Kathmandu I have no reservation in recommending this hotel.

Amazing place to stay offering stunning views of the Kathmandu Valley against the backdrop of the snowy peaks of the Himalaya.
It’s a true sanctuary with curated gardens, chattering birds, and fragrant flowers. Going up to the helipad you’ll be surrounded by wildflowers and a full 360 panorama with breathtaking sunsets and sunrises. The former accompanied by someone playing traditional flute.
Staff go above and beyond and the food is absolutely wonderful. Wish we could have stayed longer.
