10/10 Excellent

"All good, good service. I would love another restaurant option inside the resort, since this area of the island doesn’t offer too much options. They only have one restaurant by the pool, would be very nice to have another option and maybe the closing time be a little bit more late. Everything in the island closes at 9pm, I would love that the resort your staying offer you the option to have food available until 10pm for example. Other than that the resort is beautiful!"

"The Royal Sonesta Kaua'i has a beautiful property with a great pool and well-maintained grounds. The location is convenient, and the overall setting is relaxing. Unfortunately, the service and attention to detail didn't match the price. Several of the in-room amenities were incomplete or empty, including the sewing kit and other convenience items, which made the room feel overlooked. The biggest disappointment was the pool service. The security around the pool came across as overly aggressive at times, which took away from what should have been a relaxing experience. For a resort at this price point, I expected more attentive and welcoming customer service. Overall, the hotel itself is attractive, but the quality of the amenities and customer service fell short of expectations. For what you pay, I expected a more polished experience with better attention to detail and a higher level of hospitality."

"Loved the grounds and the room was nice. Slept 4 ok with ocean view. Food, especially just the coffee shop, a bit too expensive for just basic snacks. Pools were great except the sand was course and extremely hot. Beach was fantastic at the ocean. Could use more music and restaurant options,but overall really great. Island was fantastic and proximity to old town, hikes. park, etc were great."

"Free breakfast every morning was good and helpful. My kids loved the pool. There were a few cats on the property who were sweet and my kids loved that too. Chickens and a few peacocks came around in the morning from another property but it was really cool, the birds are friendly but have no boundaries. Our room was perfect for our family, 2queens and a twin. The staff was all very friendly and super helpful. The property is in a pretty quiet area. If we get to go back to hawaii we will stay here again."
