Convenient to the train station. Not much shopping or restaurants nearby. Confusing about cleaning the room, but we sorted it out. Good breakfast choices. AC worked fine.

Beautiful hotel with meditation room which is private and so serene! There is a bakery on site where all the morning breads are served hot!! Very hipster vibe loved it! Room very tranquil … did a tea ceremony at hotel which was wonderful … restaurant for dinner was excellent!

A gloriously serene retreat in the heart of a busy Kyoto neighborhood. Particularly delightful feature is the lounge, where you can sip Japanese sake and look out on the nearby pagoda. Can't recommend highly enough.
