APA Hotel & Resort Osaka Namba Ekimae Tower

10/10 Excellent
"we very much enjoyed our stay with this hotel, and we could not have asked for a better location being steps away from Namba station. we were in walking distance to everything! there is a 7 Eleven right in the building, laundry facilities that are 24/hr and each load to wash and dry is 600 yen - which is very affordable for hotel laundry. The buffet was fantastic! the rooms are tight, but not uncommon for hotels in Japan in general, but they have a seating area right outside 7 Eleven so if you're an early riser in your travel group - you can leave them to sleep. Rooms have blackout blinds - which we appreciated. Very happy with our stay overall! My only complaint was that I paid through Expedia and we got buffet with our hotel cost, but when I went to check in, which is all automated through kiosks, it asked me if I wanted to add breakfast for approximately 3000-3200 yen/person, I declined because I checked my reservation and I had it included. When I got everything printed to get access to our room, it printed my breakfast tickets, I am unsure if I had of said yes to add breakfast if it would have charged me twice? That is why I don't love the kiosk check in, even if it is faster. I asked to check in with an agent but they would not let me. small matter but worth mentioning for anyone who adds breakfast through expedia."
