"We werent expecting a lot considering how much we paid but the rooms were not clean. The shower had hair in it, there was tooth picks left from the last guests, and the smell was not pleasant. We had to tell ourselves it was just for the night and to just rest our heads. When we got up for breakfast it was not a very big selection and the food was very blan and not good even the juice tasted funky. We will not recommend or stay here again. We will definitely be spending a bit more money for more cleanliness and better food as well as hopefully a little bit more comfortable beds."

"Room smelled like pet urine, no kitchen supplies in the room, staff rude and unconcerned, floor was sticky, cabinets where cracked and chipped and this was supposed to the new owners cleaning things up. When we asked for extra pillows we where told no, only 3 to a room/bed."

"Great hotel! The pool area is beautiful. Gym could use some help with some machines or free weights. "

"Stayed on the second floor of two floors. No elevator access where we stayed. Had to take our stroller up and down stairs every time we left. Pool restaurant and bar closed at 5pm. Pool is salt water and not heated. Beautiful resort and very well maintained. Staff were fantastic. Recommend for anyone with kids, San Diego Zoo and Sea World we’re about a $15 Lyft away. $45 Resort fee per day is ridiculous because it is taxed at 15%"

"The room was a decent size and clean. We enjoyed the breakfast options and love that they have a Starbucks. Check-in and check-out was very easy. My only critique is that they need better insulation between the rooms, especially the ceiling for those heavy footed folks who are staying above you. I also note that there are no restaurants or shopping in walking distance. "

"The room set up is weird furniture out dated On out check out day @ 9:30 and worker just walked in our room 2 hours before check out asking when we were leaving. Which was ok just wish she would of knocked "

"The room was clean and renovated. Property outside looks a little run down. Good central location. Bed is comfortable. Room is clean but smelled a little funny. TV channels are difficult to figure out. Staff were kind and efficient. Does the job for a very reasonable price. Would stay here again if just looking for an affordable place to stay. Isn’t very walkable but close to Mission Bay Park."
