"The Pier House has an excellent location to Duval Street and Mallory Square, but there are numerous opportunities for improvement overall. We enjoyed our dinner entrees on our arrival night, and then drinks at the beach bar a couple of afternoons. The seaweed is a problem everywhere, but it was not raked daily at the small sandy beachfront. Our rooms had small issues that weren’t addressed until we contacted the front desk. The elevator in my building was not working properly (door closing issues). Resort fees ($60/night) and parking fees ($40/day) can really add up. The grounds are lush and beautiful. Two near-by waterfront resorts have recently been renovated, and they are vibrant, lively and welcoming, with gorgeous Key West decor. Pier House has a much more conservative, old school, and one-note feel throughout the property. "

"The hotel was very clean, the pools were nice and the housekeeping staff was excellent. Even when we didn’t request any housekeeping service for the day, when we would get back from the day out we had clean towels waiting by the door. The breakfast always had fresh pastries, fruit and yogurts daily. Balconies were very clean and comfortable."

"I loved staying at Eden House. Far enough away from Duvall, but an easy walk. I cannot say enough about how excellent this hotel is and a special thanks to Gemma who took time every day to tell is some no tourist spots to try. Gemma really went above and beyond to make sure we had a fabulous vacation. This hotel is a 10 out of 10 and I wouldn’t stay anywhere else on my next visit."

"Loved everything about our stay. Nice location (quiet, but close to where things are happening), clean room, cool building, great communication. The staff, and in particular the manager, is very friendly and attentive, and took the time to get to know us and our plans in order to help us get the most out of our trip. Would definitely stay here again :)"

"Loved the rooms, but floors were dirty. That was the only complaint we had through our entire stay. Staff was attentive and ever-present. Parking was great, and even better that we didn’t incur an additional charge. Beds were comfortable, too. Location was good. Only a few blocks from the south end of Duval Street, so it was an easy walk to all the action. We would definitely stay at Silver Palms again."
