"We loved the Resort and friendly staff. The lighting at night on the trees was so pretty. Our room was a bit old feeling, however it was clean and comfortable. The private beach and hammocks were such a plus to our stay! We will be back forsure."

Attention to details upon arrival, soft music playing on the tv with a personalized welcome greeting. Resort was beautiful and well maintained, their landscaping was eye candy for this Ohio girl. "The room was spotless… atmosphere was wonderful. Service was always top notch. The restaurants and bars at the hotel were delicious. The pool was beautiful and very nice. Overall, it was great. The only thing is… when you check in, they apply a $425 charge for “incidentals” and for if you eat at the restaurants, it can come out of that $425. So it was presented that if you didn’t use that, it would be refunded. When we checked out, they applied another $500 hold and then when reviewing the receipt, there are countless fees for things like: WiFi, resort fee ($52/day), community impact fee, and may more. So not only did we not get money back, we had to pay more. And none of this was disclosed when we booked or checked in. "

"Room was very clean. Staff was friendly. Food at the bar was good. Only complaint was housekeeping did not show up one day. We came back at 5:00 pm to find an unmade room. The hotel is very pricey. We did expect our room to be cleaned daily. Mgmt said they were short staffed. "
