"Quite far to get to from Stonetown but a stunning location. It’s boutique hotel so not the facilities of a mega resort but the local friendly staff arranged a couple of excellent things for me and I really enjoyed the intimate atmosphere. Great food too with sea views. I also enjoyed a massaged in a small hut by the sea so could hear the surf. "

"Friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast as expected, nothing fancy but nice. Great rooms with Daily moskito hindering. Nice size. Great and nice, but rather small pool. In the end the hotel lived up to our expectations."

"A smaller hotel but with provided a great experience. The staff were outstanding from reception to the bar. The rooms were very cool (we had a family room) and large, clean and very well appointed. The restaurant always looked good with many options enough to satisfy kids too. The kids also loved the pool & table tennis games room. The Dive centre in the hotel was also excellent and one of the reasons we chose this hotel. It all worked well. Just over an hour from the airport but plenty stuff...

"Amazing property. Secluded, with incredible views. With only 17 bungalows, if you want privacy and tranquility this is your place. The food is delicious, the staff accommodating (the dining staff extended lunch time by an hour just to accommodate us). Eclectically cool decor. Affordable luxury... highly recommend"

"This a great hotel, suitable for those on a budget. It is really laidback and peaceful and great for anyone looking to get away from the stresses of everyday life. This is the second time my husband and I have used this hotel and since our last visit there is a welcoming new reception area. The rooms are clean and spacious. Would recommend this hotel to others. "We booked 2 suite rooms for all the family-adults and children’s -the rooms are new and big but:there is no beds to sit on the beach only 8 was and all occupied the swimming pool it’s hole of 3 meters only to practice divers ,the staff are not friendly and take them a lot of time to bring something-blanket-3days Food at the restaurant 1hr 2days wasn’t hot water so we couldn’t take a shower ,1day without electricity,no air conditioning at the rooms so all the insects coming in -Ann’s,mosquitoes...

"Great place. Great villa with feeling of confort and privacy and with feets on the wonderfull beach (garden on the beach with private entry) ! Nice private pool with very clean water. We had the villa for the four of us only but you can easily come with 2 famillies. 4 large bed rooms with 9 beds and likely possible to add couple of beds more. Large living room. Private garden and large terrase with pool. "

" I had an unforgettable honeymoon at Mora Resort Zanzibar. The room was comfortable and beautifully maintained, providing a perfect retreat. The beach was pristine with clean white sand, and the clear sea water made for stunning views and relaxing swims. The customer service was absolutely top-notch—friendly, attentive, and always eager to help. The dining options across all the restaurants were fantastic, offering delicious food with a variety of choices. But what I loved most were the breathtaking views of the beach that made every moment even more special. Overall, it was a truly memorable experience, and I highly recommend Mora Resort Zanzibar for a romantic getaway. "

"Lovely small hotel with direct access to the beach. Very smiley, attentive staff. Comfortable rooms, though the shower was a little disappointing. We enjoyed our meals, especially the fish stew. Breakfast was good. Would definitely recommend this charming hotel, having really enjoyed the three nights we stayed there. My husband would thoroughly recommend the massage which he rated one of the best and reasonably priced too!"
