"I took my two Boys at the end of July and we flew directly to the Island of Zanzibar from Dubai . This hotel must be the best Hotel on the Island the rooms are lovely the staff are excellent , the food is fantastic , the evening music events are incredible , the Hotel beach section is awesome and the grounds of the hotel are so beautiful and enormous . This has been one of the best hotels I’ve stayed in around the world and it was a good location for me to book my boys on an African Safari flying to Serengeti then NgoroNgoro crater"

"The staff at La Perla were super friendly and couldn’t do enough for you. The room was very clean but basic and more African style rather than modern which for me was the attraction. The pool area is extremely clean and there’s plenty of sun beds both around it and on the beach. Food is the restaurant is very decent and doesn’t cost the earth. The view of the beach from the restaurant is amazing. The resort doesn’t sell alcohol but the restaurant next door does if that’s important to you."

"We were so glad we picked this location! The city was way too busy but this corner of the island was relaxed, spacious, had good food, lodgings were perfect. The staff was always thinking ahead and took great care of us. We took advantage of a couple of tours through them and they were wonderful also -- I would suggest not doing more than one in a day unless you want to be gone the whole day! Getting around the island is not easy. Loved Zanziblue -- also took advantage of their airport pickup and return. A great way to end our mainland safari. We needed the rest."
