Authentic Ryokans In Kinki Region

"Property was peaceful and spa was hot. Dining staff were extremely friendly ."

"Make sure to book your room with the Dinner and Breakfast options. That dinner was one of the best meals I've ever had in Japan!"

"This was my first Ryokan and all I can say is WOW. What an amazing experience. The staff are all super friendly and accommodating. As someone that also works in hospitality, I've never stayed anywhere else in the world that treats their guest as well as they do. Everything from the room, food, and onsen was spectacular. I would love to return if I ever get a chance."

"My family of 3 had a wonderful time and our 8 year old was delighted with the baths, the kid dinner and buffet. Our only complaint was the dinner restaurant happened to have a lot of loudly screaming children which diminished the experience a bit."

"The best experience hands down. The staff was very accommodating and understanding of Foreigners and were willing to go out of their way to assist. A special thank you to Yamada for a fantastic experience!"

"Wonderful location and environment, good food and staff"

"I highly recommend the wagyu dinner/breakfast"

"Great place!"

"That’s a Ryokan with all the associated Japanese experience. The only somewhat negative is location - not close to any local dining or public transportation (a free shuttle in the morning helps though)."

"We enjoyed the spacious ryokan with easy bus access to shrines and shopping."

"The staff was very helpful. The place is closer to the woods, but still in a residential area. It was a pleasant experience."
