This hotel is great for the price. My booking came with breakfast and dinner included. The food was pretty good. Breakfast is buffet and dinner is a choice of two set menus, plus a salad bar. The room I had was ok. I know people say the rooms are small but I found it fine. A double bed, sofa, table for TV etc. the bathroom was a bit small but it was fine. The hallways leading from the lift to the rooms are open (to a certain degree) there is a central open core running up through the building which is open but in October it was fine. It might be cold in the winter. All in all I had a nice stay here and would stay here again.

Rooms are very small but the facilities makeup for that. You get breakfast included in the price which is a very good deal for the price. There is a Lawson right near the entrance for quick shopping. Kyoto station is a good 20 minutes walk.

Pretty small rooms. Quiet and reasonably clean. We are happy with their free breakfast, supper and public hot spring service, but their bed wasn't really comfortable though. It's better than Good but not yet Excellent. Will recommend to couples who want to spend less on travel for a ok recommendation.
