Beautiful resort overlooking the beach, and the room was spotless. Pros: Clean, spacious room Amazing shower with great views Decent breakfast buffet Transport companies were outside the door most hours Reliable laundry service Clean gym, nice Muay Thai class offering Nice spa Cons: DO NOT ORDER TAXI FROM THEM. They ordered a cab (when we had to make a boat) that arrived 20 minutes late, crammed us in with tons of people and the cab smelled of cigarettes, and they dropped our bag on the street. We could have gotten our own private transport that was outside the door for less money. When I pointed this out to the hotel, the response was “we will complain to the company, no worries.” Our complaint is with both the cab company and the hotel. We made a mistake trusting them.

A beautiful resort and staff so so helpful and always smiley! Rooms were so well kept and really clean. Aircon works very well! Pool area kept very clean and different areas to sit at to have a drink. Beach access for early morning or early evening walks. Food and drinks good, only comment would be cooked breakfast got cold quickly if you didn’t get there at breakfast opening time. Beautiful sea views and an amazing sunset from Reggae Bar!

Excellent stay

We stayed at Avani+ Koh Lanta for 3 nights in a pool villa and overall had a wonderful time. The resort is beautiful, peaceful, and perfect for unwinding. Our private pool villa was clean, spacious, and very comfortable — just what we needed for a relaxing getaway. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. A special mention to the buggy service, which was super quick every time we called — rarely had to wait more than a couple of minutes. The pool bar was great, and the happy hour from 5–6 PM was a nice touch. That said, when it gets busy, it can be a little hard to get your drinks in time before happy hour ends. We also found the pool bar closed quite early in the evening — not sure if that’s just during low season or standard for the resort. Food at the resort was good, though a bit on the expensive side — which is expected for a resort. In our opinion, the menu could benefit from a bit more variety, especially since there’s only one restaurant and the location is quite secluded from other dining options. Despite these small points, we really enjoyed our time here. The peaceful setting, friendly service, and overall vibe made it a memorable stay. We’d happily come back again!

Magical stay with a personal touch

Wow! Such an amazing stay but mostly because of the staff who work here. This is what really makes the experience magical! The team are the ones who made sure we had a MEMORABLE stay at Avani+ Koh Lanta, always checking in on us and seeing if there is anything we needed. The resort is VERY lucky to have such dedicated and warm people like them making sure that guests are well taken care of. Honestly, without their constant care, I do not think our stay here would have been as enjoyable as it was. We highly recommend a trip to the spa; the BEST massage experience I have ever received was here. The team at the morning breakfast was also a wonderful experience to wake up to as they ensured we got our daily coffees and a nice place to sit to admire the views across the beach. You were always met with a big smile! Avani+ Koh Lanta is not just a nice resort, it is transformed into a magical place because of the people that work there. Without the efforts and commitment of the team it would just be any other nice hotel. WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND STAYING HERE!!!

Dejligt hotel god beliggenhed det eneste der var at de var længe om at komme med pool håndklæder op til den pool der lå længst væk så flere gæster var nede og hente ved den anden pool og det skal lige siges at der at langt at gå og meget bakket, var til kinesisk nytår dejlig mad men igen det var næsten umuligt at få lov at købe drikkevare tror de ville havde 5 dobbelt deres omsætning hvis de havde været lidt om sig, så der var mange der gik de gad ikke sidde og vente på betjeningen desværre ellers hyggeligt med levende musik men alt i alt et godt hotel

L architecture de l hôtel est sympa et calme mais vieillissant. La plage privée de l’hôtel n’a aucun équipement ( pas de parasol ni de siège ) et il y a malheureusement du plastique. Le niveau de service est très aléatoire. Nous avons dû déposer 1000 bth par jour directement prélevé sur la carte de crédit mais l’hôtel se donne 15 jours pour restituer l’argent. Ce n’est pas juste une empreinte qui est prise. La climatisation de la chambre était extrême y froid malgré un réglage à L architecture de l hôtel est sympa et calme mais vieillissant. Ett fantastisk fint boende med service i toppklass. Rätt backig terräng så de hade shuttle cars, som skjutsade oss, med korta väntetider. En egen mindre strand med lite stenar på botten och en publik enorm strand bara 100 m från anläggningen. Rekommenderar det starkt

Et skønt og dejligt hotel. Hotellet ligger væk fra byen dette skal man være opmærksom på! Hotellet er dyrt for området. Servicen er høj og standarden er generelt høj. Vi var der sidst på høj sæsonen og der var ganske få gæster på hotellet.

Wir (M34 und W30)hatten 5 fantastische Tage bei mäßigem Wetter in diesem Resort. Es war sehr ruhig - ggf. aber auch weil wenig los war. Ein kleiner, abgeschirmter Sandstrand ist exklusiv zugänglich. Ruhe findet man hier auf jeden Fall. Das Service Team ist engagiert und gut aufgestellt wenn man außerhalb des Resorts etwas unternehmen will. Roller, Ausflüge und Fähre oder Transfer sind vom Hotel aus etwas günstiger als außerhalb. Nur das Essen im Cliff Restaurant hat fast westliches Preisniveau. Die Auswahl ist okay - für 5 Tage ausreichend, für 2 Wochen bestimmt etwas langweilig. Die Qualität des Essens war gut. Das Zimmer war sauber und modern. Zimmerservice und in-Room- Dinning war hervorragend. Der Samsung Fernseher leider restriktiv eingestellt und ohne Internetzugang - also besser ein USB -HDMI Kabel mitbringen ;) Wir hatten ein Zimmer mit Meerblick- der war gerade so akzeptabel. Ein Upgrade auf die Villen mit Pool war vor Ort deutlich günstiger als vorab online - haben es aber nicht gemacht. Wir würden es wieder Buchen!

Hvis du gerne vil være et sted hvor der er roligt, så er Crown Lanta et oplagt sted. Dog bør man være opmærksom på pool access værelser ligger meget for sig selv (det gør hele resortet), så man kan ikke "bare" gå ned på stranden og finde noget mad. Pool Villa er helt klart at foretrække hvis man vil glemme tiden og nyde hinanden.
