Fräscht och bra hotell med rymliga bungalows (bodde i de med poolutsikt). Perfekt läge på stranden med fantastiska solnedgångar. Frukosten var helt ok, trevlig liten restaurang med vällagad mat där vi åt lunch flera gånger. Restaurangen stänger och släcker ner kl 21 så det är lugna (och lite mörka) kvällar här jämfört med andra hotell längs med stranden där restaurangerna är öppna till sent. Passade oss som barnfamilj jättebra. Skönt med pool som variation till havet!

Mysigt hotell med bra läge

Ett mysigt och lugnt hotell. Bra läge. Trevlig personal . Frukosten ingick inte i vårt rum. Den kostade 300 bath per person . Vi tyckte det var dyrt så frukosten köpte vi på grannhotellet för 220 bath per person Vi har bott 8 gånger på Golden Bay och kommer gärna tillbaka. Vi bodde i en bungalow med havsutsikt

The perfect stay

This hotel is fantastic. The owner takes care if his customers, gives a lot of good advices, about restaurants, life on the island, visits. Staff very efficient and smiling. Wonderful pool. Great view. Quiet. Fresh food. It was the perfect stay. And a plus this hotel takes care about the planet with special bins to sort out trash. I think for family or couple it s the perfect pkace Close for Saladan. You can go very fast to the other islands during the day ( ko rok, ko ha, and the amazing emerald cave) In Golden Bay cottage the priority is the well being of his visitors.

Wir haben ein Zimmer mit direktem Meerblick gehabt - allerdings hat sich dieses derart schnell aufgeheizt, dass es unmöglich war tagsüber auf der Terrasse zu sitzen. Wir fanden den Service sehr unpersönlich, das kennen wir aus Thailand so nicht. Das Frühstück war ok, aber leider jeden Morgen das selbe, keinerlei Variation. Nicht mal an den Feiertagen (Weihnachten & Silvester) gab es eine Änderung. Wir haben bei anderen Resorts an Weihnachten gesehen, dass sich sehr viel Mühe gegeben wurde für die Kinder - im golden Pearl trugen die Mitarbeiter Mützen, das war es. Der Pool ist sehr schön, die Beschattung funktioniert jedoch durch das feste System nur zu einer bestimmten Tageszeit. Hier wären variable Sonnenschirme besser. Am Rand vom Pool lag sehr viel Müll der nie entfernt wurde. Der sehr junge Inhaber der Anlage war sehr nett, lief ständig beschäftigt durch die Anlage und hat sich gefühlt um ALLES gekümmert und die Mitarbeiter standen tatenlos und gelangweilt daneben. Es gibt eigentlich nicht viel zu meckern aber uns hat in knapp zwei Wochen dort die Atmosphäre eins die Freundlichkeit die man aus Thailand sonst so kennt, sehr gefehlt. Schade!

Fantastiskt trevligt hotell dit vi definitivt kommer att återvända! Härlig frukostbuffé och trevlig personal. Vi uppskattade vårt rum som låg med direkt access till stranden. Dessutom på den absolut bästa delen av Klong Dao-stranden.

Personnel très sympathique et au petit soin! Un petit déjeuner bien garnie. La chambre pas mal du tout mais manque d’insonorisation. Rapport qualité prix un peu décevant par rapport a d’autres hotel bien moins cher (ex : qu’une serviette, pas de savon pour le lavabo,..) Les extérieurs auraient bien besoin d’un petit coup de neuf (la piscine, les bains de soleil, les espaces verts : manque d’entretien, ...) Parfait pour un séjour aussi bien en famille et qu’en couple.
