Authentic Ryokans In Kofu

"The room smelt like cigarettes smoke everytime i left the room and came back. It went quickly but something is bringing it in. "

"The location must be reached by taxi or bus and buses are infrequent. I recall staying in a very nice hotel next to Kyoto station with probably only 2000 yen more that this basic room. No idea why Kofu is so costly. "

Dining options are available nearby; the sushi place directly across the road is excellent! Would be happy to recommend to others who would like a slightly unusual place to stay "
