"It was very clean. The room and facilities were beautifully kept and very new. The staff was very friendly and helpful. However we were surprised at the extra charges for two futons for our children at ¥3000 a piece as well as the ¥3000 late arrival fee, which made it much more expensive than we originally thought. "Onsen was nice, room was large/well maintained, and the buffet style food was surprisingly good. The exterior around the property needs some work, but once you’re inside you couldn’t care less."

If looking for authentic Japanese experience (for the working and middle class Japanese) this is a very good experience. Dinner and breakfast buffet was really good. However there's little to do around the lake, unlike Yamashiro ir Yamanaka onsen area. "
