"I do not recommend to stay in this hotel if... 1). you cannot speak basic Japanese. The staff cannot speak basic English and they were not even trying to use any translator device to communicate with foreign guests. "We had a fabulous stay at Hotel Kitanoya. Everything was to perfection. The onsen has both indoor and outdoor baths. You can sit under a canopy of trees and enjoy nature! Our spacious room had a picture-perfect view of the bay. The food was stupendous. Fresh, varied, and yummy. The staff are very professional and pleasant. They did everything to make our stay wonderful. The location is just a 6-minute walk to the station, and the hotel also provides a shuttle. I didn't want to leave!"
