"Tamala has been my preferred hotel in Banjul. I am disappointed to see the state in which it is now. My room was not properly cleaned, lights kept going off, the intercom in my room did not work and on one of the days the internet went off with no explanation from staff."

"The staff and proximity to the beach was the best part. The king size or two twin beds was of average comfort. The room had bugs. There was no microwave. They charged extra for AC. The breakfast was continental. It is a nice enough place if you are very simple."
