"I stayed for three nights. The hotel is clean and well ventilated. I was lucky enough to have a large and quiet room. The owner is very friendly and doesn't bother guests. But the only regret is that the floor noise is loud. It will be noisy if you live next to the stairs. I would come again if given the chance."
"Excellent place to stay. 5 minutes from the train station. Great breakfast, with western and Japanese alternatives. The room was great and bigger than others in big cities. Staff was helpful and friendly. If you are doing the Kumano Kodo trail, is convenient. "
"It didn’t matter that it rained the whole time. the house was more than enjoyable, staff extremely accommodating, and the baths outside were occupied all day. "
"We tried to cook, but the stovetop didn’t work. After 7:00pm no one can help. Narrow stairway, very small parking place so inconvenient. Not good location. "
"I wasn’t expecting multi-course dinners that included sashimi and other top quality ingredients. It was incredible, delicious and filling. Great breakfast buffet too. I was delighted with our stay, my boyfriend wasn’t happy about having to go to the onsen to shower, but he got into the spirit and enjoyed himself."

"It was a beautiful spot and easy to get to places. A lot of space! But the sauna room smelled like mold and there was a lot of black spots on the wood. The room we split in smelled musty. Quite location and parking spot you don’t have to pay for!"
"Probably the best hotel in Shirahama. 5 min walk from the beach. Clean, large property. Pool area is fantastic if you have kids and the rooms are large. Bonus point for the Onsen on the last floor with view of beach and sunset. I do not recommend the food. Looks terrible. "
"The room looks like it’s been water damaged and the ceiling and walls were bogged with cement.
Staff were very nice but the property was very poor.
I didn’t like the communal kitchen.
