Great stay

We stayed for two nights at Light Hotel in December 2016. What stood for my family was the quality of service of the hotel staff who greeted and serviced us from the time we stepped in till we left three days later. The F&B staff were especially fantastic and were very accommodating to our requests for vegetarian food due religious reasons.

Room was quite large, newly furnished, and smelled clean and fresh. The breakfast was fairly sizable, but basically the same thing every day, the swimming pool was great, very clean amenities.

The hotel may look normal from the outside. But the interior is beautiful and clean. The hotel provides underground carpark facilities. There are ample slots too. Bed is very comfortable and the TV programe are in HD!

We stayed here two nights (23+24 June 2014) while on a round trip in Malaysia. This hotel is pricey compared to the other hotels/B&B in the neighborhood, but its definitely worth the price. The hotel looks like the pictures and has very nice calm over it. This is the hotel that I will never miss to reserve whenever I'm in Penang (even though it was only a night of stay in this trip), I've also introduced my friend to this hotel in the past which he used it for his proposal as I feel this is one of best hotel I've stayed in all my travelling to different countries. The amazimg sea view and spacious rooms are so impressive. The staff are very helpful and nice. Highly recommend to family travel.

Very large rooms at reasonable prices. Business suite is very conducive even for meetings if need be. Most amenities are provided in the room and others may be available upon request. Only caveat is that there are many switches in the room including those that power the air conditioner and the water heater and it is not easy to figure out what is for what.
