Great hotel if you do not want to be staying in the middle of the Georgetown traffic. Next door to the higher end Queensbay Mall and within walking distance to local eateries and convenience shops, you just need to set up your Grab account for a ride to town or the airport. Staff service was excellent, attended to all of my small requests.

Eastin Hotel Penang

Stay was good. Staff was courteous. Convenient. Near airport-10 mins and next to Queensbay mall. Water pressure for shower in hotel was a bit too low. Hope that hotel can look into this. Apart from that, its a preferred hotel that is near the factories in Bayan Lepas and convenient.

Back to choose this hotel after 5 years back. Quite disappointed as seems the mattress quite hard and pillows too soft. The hotel condition seems like going downhills. They might consider doing some upgrading works.

Once you enter the property, you feel calm and relax. Starting from the front desk staff who are friendly when you checked in and explained clearly about the hotel and room. The room though small but nicely decor and with a great view. Breakfast was awesome and it was one of the best I ever had throughout my travelling experience. I can even take away coffee for my travelling to my business meeting. I will definitely come back to stay in this hotel for my next trip to Penang. Thank you

Enjoyable stay in Eastin Hotel

Pleasant stay. I’m the regular guests at this hotel for so many years and even after the closed boarder due to covid. Eastin Hotel does not failed me. The difference is now there are 2 different keys. 1 for lift and other access another 1 is for room access which I found is very troublesome. And only provide 1 sets to me where I requested for 2.

We’ve stayed here a number of times. This is the first time we’ve had a couple of substantial disappointments. Check-in was time consuming & messy—not because of ghe nice lady who eventually checked us in, but because the other staffers allowed two parties who showed up after us to cut in line & get fully taken care of ahead of us. It was a clear case of improperly trained staff who—due to lack of attention—reward rude, pushy customers and penalize more polite customers. The managers could see this if review the CCTV. Thankfully, once the energetic lady receptionist got her line clear she checked us in smoothly. Then, my wife was rather forcefully told to leave the breakfast area because the restaurant crew wanted to clean up early. It’s one thing to politely inform guests that food service is about to end (that’s fine & helpful), but to kick guests out who are merely sitting & conversing at a table—who does that? Apparently Easton now does. Service here has really gone down.
