for those that like to walk - this is located somewhat within a 30 minute walk to the farthest site in Georgetown and within 5 to 10 minutes of local night street food stalls ; property lobby is nice, though rooms are dated - however, quite large compared to other asian hotels and is well lit with lights for also every corner of the room and lots of storage !!

Give other hotels a try
Travel to Penang a few times a year due to work and wanted to try a new hotel and chose Sunway. Unfortunately, I felt that based on their prices; travellers can get much better services hotel. Staff service quality can be improved. Room has pest ie ants and lizard. Bed sheet has stain. No food offering in the hotel lobby outside of meal times

Staff is helpful, location is great, can get transport easily. There are street food just outside the hotel.
