"This is a nice place to stay. The bedrooms were well maintained and the beds comfortable. The staff was very attentive. We had breakfast and dinner included, and the food was of good quality. The onset was good, however worn around the edges a bit. The town is a bit run down (like many of the small towns in Hokkaido), but the area is fabulous if you like walks, hikes, and nature. We rented a car and used the hotel like a base for going on walks and hikes, and for this it is perfect. We would stay here again. "

"This is the best hotel we have stayed at so far! The room was definitely spacious especially based on our experience in Japan! Each of the two beds was full size very comfortable for both of us. Bed linen and towels were of good quality. Room was clean and service was attentive. The hotel staff (reception and concierge)were bery polite and tried to be as helpful as they could despite the language barrier. With google translate we were able to accomplish all we wanted. The breakfast buffet had both Japanese items and western stuff, very good. We are extremely pleased with this hotel and their provisions. Definitely recommend it and will stay here again if we come back to Kushiro!"

"The overall experience of my stay is terrible: there are molds in the bathtub; the toothbrushing cup was used as cigarette trash tray by previous occupant and was not replaced when we move in; the washbasin is jammed; the sewer make noises randomly the whole night; the receptionists and staff barely speaks English. The only good things of the hotel are exterior view and food. "
