A traditional Japanese house

Fushimi Ohana is a traditional Japanese house that is located in a quiet neighborhood. We LOVE the design of it. Staying there is like leading a local Japanese's life, which is quite nice. The people in the neighborhood seem quite nice. The facilities are good and the place is clean. The self check-in provided us with good flexibility and was clearly instructed. It could be a little cold in winter though as the heaters are not quite enough for the big house. But it is an interesting experience for people who come from warmer places. To travel to the major tourist spots from the house, you often need to take th train and travel to Kyoto Station for transfers. But it is fast. Not many stores or restaurants open at night around that area, except one convenience store. So prepare your stuff early.

Lovely traditional style house in Fushimi, Kyoto

Rather than a hotel this is a very homely, traditional and private single floor house located a short train journey out of the centre of Kyoto. It was perfect for us, a family of 5 who enjoyed the walk to the station and were happy to commute into Kyoto for the benefit of this lovely space. The train journey is about 10 minutes into the centre of Kyoto and some trains connected straight into the metro system which was very handy.

全て最悪

二度と泊まりたくない。恥ずかしくて友達にも話したくない。でも、宿泊価格だけは高級ホテルなみ。寒い! 汚い! 3泊でも歯ブラシ1本! センベイ布団に、毛布と布団。3人共風邪をひいた! トイレとシャワーだけ改造して、案内の写真にあるが、詐欺にあったようだ!

適合想要體驗一下町屋生活的人，但不適合住太多天

1.冬天因為町屋結構不佳，所以屋內相當冷。 2.鄰居相當安靜，房東也只給你密碼鎖密碼就不會再理你，只推薦給愛安靜的人。 3.適合給想體驗京都生活的人，但如果想要再京都住很多天，每天要跑景點花體力的人，建議去住旅館會更好。

위치에 대한 불만

사진으로만 보고 예약을 했다가 실제 가서 보니까 너무 외진 곳에 있어서 조금 놀랐습니다. 무섭기도 했구요. 기존 주택을 리노베이션을 했는데 조금만 더 튼튼하게(?)했슴 지내는 내내 덜 불안했을 것 같아요. 4명의 가족이 머무리기에 공간은 충분했구요~~ 컵 이외에 숟가락 젓가락등 다른 식기가 전혀 없어서 좀 불편했습니다.

Mosquitoes and over-priced

The location is not very convenient and the house is a little bit too old. There are a lot of mosquitoes and some go into the room through the hole in the front door. The price is too high comparing to its condition and the service it provides.

完全日式的民宿

獨棟的日式的民宿,位置有點偏避, 但很適合人多的住宿也且可以體會完全日式的民宿,房子當然有點年紀,但很乾淨附近有超商,但沒有逛街的地方

適合想體驗舊式日人生活的人來住

颱風打亂行程提早走, 行前幾天京都大阪只剩一晚上萬台幣的旅館,只剩這家沒人訂,沒選擇只好硬著頭皮去.它不是旅館,而是要簽約的日式平房,住在當地人中間.全是通鋪,但有1隔間,我們是2女睡裡面,其他睡外面,估計外面可睡5人.房東英文好會立刻回覆問題.房子舊但衛浴現代,有微波爐和冰箱,提供盥洗用品,注意的是浴室沒掛勾(即使有掛勾衣服也會濕),洗完得出來穿衣服,所以一有人洗澡隔壁廁所就不能用,而且廚房邊的門也不能開.要特別注意這家容許免費取消的期限再下單(比別家早),下單之後房東會很鄭重寄來英文合約叫你簽, 簽了寄了才給你房門鎖的號碼/wifi密碼, 和如何到的路徑, 建議走房東講的路徑2(伏見站出口EXit2下樓左轉沿高架橋下走300m,沒路右轉),右轉後右邊是一家24hr便利商店Kmart(可買早餐,距住的地方~2min),再走過小橋(橋下水圳乾淨不臭),之後要立刻右轉走小路過小學20m,再左轉進小巷左邊最後一家,房東會留房外燈亮,大水圳之後小路(~1min)比較黑. 我猜以前的房客不好好維護,衛生棉丟馬桶,所以房東才會如此鄭重簽合約,合約的內容不外乎就是要你好好維護,離開之前要收拾乾淨,垃圾集中在後院的大垃圾桶,保持寧靜.這家日式平房位在京都車站往南近鐵線5站的伏見,伏見站往北1站可在竹田轉京都地鐵,往南1站可在丹波橋轉京阪線到七条轉Bus100清水寺,或到出町柳跳烏龜或轉鞍馬線,或到祇園四条花見小路,五条走鴨川堤岸,....所以說它鄉下也不像,但是整個區域就是像台灣鄉下小鎮的小巷,環境非常安靜,常聽見烏鴉叫. 這裡適合想體驗舊式日人生活的人來住,有電視機但好像只有5~6台節目, 有少許蚊子(1晚~3隻),房東有預備1個電蚊香,但不夠呀.
