"1. Inconsistent check-in information We were initially informed that check-in was only available between 3pm and 6pm. However, when we contacted the hotel due to a travel delay, we were then told check-in was available until 8pm. This inconsistency caused unnecessary stress during our journey. 2. Lack of luggage assistance At reception, we were told that someone would assist us with our luggage, but no one came. We ended up carrying all our luggage ourselves. If assistance is not available, expectations should be managed more clearly. 3. Poor cleanliness standards One of the bath towels provided was visibly dirty and had not been properly cleaned. When we reported this to the front desk, there was no apology or acknowledgement, which is not acceptable for a hotel of this standard. 4. Unreliable laundry service We were told that laundry given in the morning would be returned in the afternoon. However, it was not ready until the next morning, which disrupted our travel plans. Additionally, the clean clothes were returned in the same bag used for dirty laundry, despite our request for a new one. 5. Noise and room comfort issues The hotel was very noisy due to a nearby bar playing music until late evening and additional noise early in the morning. The curtains also did not block out sunlight effectively, making it difficult to rest properly."

"Good cliffside hotel with sweeping views of the town and lake. The staff were incredibly friendly and even helped with luggage down the steep winding steps. The restaurant served fresh, delicious food, and the lakeside path made it easy to walk to town without needing a tuk‑tuk. A convenient and memorable stay."

"The hotel don’t mention that restroom is not in the room. Also there a lot of walking steps up hill. "

"It is the perfect location and very nice rooms for the area. It is right across the street from good restaurants and bars. A lot of young people so it’s a great place to meet other travelers. The rooms were clean and the staff is very nice and helpful. The pool and hot tub are great. Highly recommend if you plan to stay in San Pedro, it’s the best city for young travelers in my opinion and the hotel is right by the boats you take to the other cities!"

"The hotel room was fine and having the free breakfast was really nice. We needed to communicate with them before we arrived due to a flight delay and we were hoping to get a partial refund for one night as it was refundable before a certain date and we couldn’t arrive on the date planned. However, communication with them was next to impossible, which was really stressful and so we couldn’t change the reservation. It was also really noisy outside the hotel overnight due to things beyond their control like fireworks, roosters, and dogs howling, but worth noting you might want to bring earplugs"

"The lake was so beautiful. The staff was incredibly nice and the surrounding area is serene. It is off the main road, so you lose the noise of the busy street but keep the proximity. The neighbors are also so sweet. Kayaks are available on the property and they offered breakfast. The gentleman at the property helped carry our bags when we came in and helped us get to where we needed for our shuttle when we were leaving. 10/10 recommend!!!!"

"Check in policy is unclear. The cash policy is listed in FAQ but not noted in the auto message after booking or clearly displayed. It is also misleading when you’re required to leave a credit card for booking. Upon arrival I was told I had to make multiple transactions and my credit card company flagged it as fraud. I had use my limited international cellular service to contact customer service to resolve the issue. Then my room was infested with ants! They were in my bed and suitcase. I had to have my clothes washed. It took 3 days to speak to a manager who didn’t even cover my laundry service. He said this was an expected issue and he gave me Q100 restaurant credit. I expect some spiders but not ants all over the floor, getting into my suitcase and in MY BED."
