Poisoned with the food

It is the most noisy hotel I ‘ve been. They had parties all night till 1am. And start to do clean and move furniture at 6am. But the worst was that I was poisoned with a decomposed Hamburger in the restaurante and lost three days of my holidays with fever and diarrhea. I told the people of reception and just say: oh sorry!

it one of the best hotel that i stayed on this trip to bolivia and in case that i will go back to la paz i would stay at the same hotel the staff are very friendly and they help me to organise my trip to copacampana and also to the death road in really good price the location of the hotel is also good and safe

Room was very clean and updated. There was only one elevator for an eight-story structure so that was a negative. Also, the walls were thin so noise from the hall was very audible.

Great central hotel

Very well situated hotel close to main street. Nice new hotel. No aircon for summer. People on reception helpful. Restaurant on top floor was lovely. The menu was totally in Spanish with no English. The wait staff also did not understand english. Im sure we are not the only English speaking guests. A suggestion to include English on the menu would be helpful.

Perfect Stay in La Paz

Relatively high-tech door lock in South America. The room is clean and comfortable. It has the greatest hot water pressure in the world. Services are perfect, including greeting at night, breakfast and early check-out. The surroundings are some main streets and schools, so it is a bit noisy but I'm fine with these. Breakfast may be a bit limited as a hotel but all taste fine with comfortable seats. La Paz is somehow dangerous at night so they locked the main gate tight at late night. Built-in body wash, shampoo bottle and hair dryer which I love these so much.

Equipment failure and management

I stayed at this hotel for a total of 4 days during my stay in Lapaz. However, due to some unfortunate circumstances, it turned out to be the worst hotel stay I've ever had. I rode the hotel elevator early in the morning on the second day to join a tour of Tiahuanaco ruins, but the elevator has broken. I was trapped there with two other guests for over 30 minutes, and we couldn't make it in time for that meeting. The accident itself was unavoidable, but the hotel did not offer any apology for the incident. After 3 nights, I checked out and spent a day in Uyuni. I returned to this hotel as I had originally booked, but it was tereibble. the safety box was broken and hot water hoes not come out, the hair dryer was broken..... It was especially cold in the mornings and evenings. My condition, which was already feeling a bit like I was coming down with a cold, got worse. Some of the staff were friendly, but you should be especially careful with the facilities.

Not worth the price

Paper thin walls. We did not sleep. The restaurant was either closed or reserved for groups. We have not been able to eat there or just chill on the rooftop. Breakfast was very poor.. and we asked for an ealy check-in at 5 AM. They confirmed is was ok but when we got there they said there was no room ready before 8:30 AM. They made us pay the same price but we had to sleep in the lobby.
