"A nice place and it worked well for us and our 18 month old daughter. Having both a pool on site, and a stunning beach in walking distance was a huge plus. Accomodation was fine, if a little tired. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast was fine though lacking variety."

"A true luxury experience. Our room was spotless and comfortable. The views from the room, restaurants, and Sky Bar are absolutely breathtaking. Donโ€™t miss the breakfast buffet - a perfect place to watch the sun rise. The staff are friendly and helpful. The location was a perfect distance to walk to town, and for our hiking and kayaking excursions. Parking was ample and easy to access. If you are lucky you will be greeted by Ricardo who shared a wealth of local tips."

"I had a wonderful stay at Vale d'El Rei Hotel & Villas. The property was beautiful, peaceful, and exceptionally clean, with a very relaxing atmosphere. Everything was well maintained, and the staff were friendly and welcoming throughout our stay. The breakfast was especially impressive, with a great variety of fresh and delicious options to start the day. The location is a little away from the main road, so having a car is definitely recommended, but that also gives the hotel a quiet and relaxing setting away from the crowds. Overall, everything was excellent, and I really enjoyed my stay. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would happily stay here again."

"The rooms were clean when we arrived but the kitchen had oils or left over residue on the handles so felt a bit gross opening and closing them. The tables were definitely were not wiped and some of the furnishing had been water stained but that's from other guest usage. Bed comfy enough tho. Bath looked a bit gross. Don't know if it's residue staining or mould or just dirty."
